Musk has 9 kids. So him pulling out of something is pretty rare.

Lacob is the Golden State owner and this quote is from a podcast he was on. GSW is a repeat payer to the luxury tax system and that carries huge penalties. For every dollar they spend over the luxury tax they have to pay a penalty of $6.25 and they are over the luxury tax. So if they had wanted to keep Gary Payton II for say, $10M per year. It would have cost them $72M this year to do it.

Someone remind these refs it is just summer league. Let them play and get into a flow.

Liked what I saw from Stewart at the start. First time touching the ball he nails a three. Second time he attacked the closeout by putting it on the floor. He doesn't have to be great at either of those skills but being average would make him a lot more valuable.

Kuminga, Moody, and Wiseman would be a pretty good future core for most lottery teams. Golden State has that and won the title this year. Might as well throw Poole in that group as well since he is only 22.

Windhorst was on ESPN and said there is no bidding war for Durant. Teams made their offers and feel no need to up them. He hinted the offers are probably less than Minnesota gave up for Gobert.

Don't be shocked if Duren sits tonight. He wasn't allowed to participate in practices until that trade was completed. No game tomorrow so they could get a practice in with him. Then again, it is SL so maybe just throw him out there.

No announcement at all from Detroit about the Knicks trade. Not even on the PR twitter account. The Knicks did announce it so it is official. Just odd Detroit didn't mention it.

I am not a big fan of his but yeah, he was still relevant in the game. Always a good thing to see if a guy can stay impactful if he isn't scoring. Giving Presti all these picks is going to haunt the league for a long time. We haven't even mentioned that Jalen Williams looked real good last night as well. The man knows how to draft.

Charles was pretty upset how the race was managed. Not letting him past Sainz, not pitting him on the last safety car. Maybe his crew was upset too. It might also be nothing. Someone posted a pic of Leclerc's last win and almost nobody was on the fence then either. Some are suggesting Ferrari just doesn't do that like other teams do.

Giddey is so damn good. People tend to forget him because he was hurt the last couple of months of the season. But he was as good as any other rookie last year. Last two months he played he put up 13/8/6 and 16/8/7. Basically the same situation as Cade. Needs to seriously up his efficiency and three point shooting.

Free agents can sign their deals today. Teams can also complete trades today. So the Grant deal will be done as will Duren. I saw pictures of Duren traveling on the team plane to Vegas. So he is there and should play.

All signs point to a recession so it makes sense commodity prices are dropping.

You need to see a player in the playoffs before you can really judge them. That is why it is important to make the playoffs before your young guys start to hit free agency. The playoffs are so different than the regular season, you need to see how they perform to properly judge them
