  1. Givony and Vecenie both released new mocks today. Givony has us taking Mathurin and Vecenie has us taking Murray.
  2. The Sam Vecenie draft guide came out today.
  3. Not sure there has ever been a more talented player that I absolutely would not want on my team.
  4. I believe all the wind tunnel rules were to cut costs. Can only have 60% model size. The hours are limited, speed limited, etc. They are talking about a wind tunnel ban in 2030.
  5. Pretty sure Cubans are as well. Nothing wrong with that.
  6. Hasn't Walmart been doing that for quite a while now? https://i5.walmartimages.com/dfw/4ff9c6c9-9378/k2-_0769cdec-ad81-46f5-9e50-a463dbfabc2e.v1.pdf Might not be a 15% markup but those prices seem reasonable.
  7. They are only allowed to test up to 180kph in the wind tunnel or roughly 110mph.
  8. Good stuff from Max and Carlos.
  9. Good exposure for F1 in the States today. A 90 minute prerace show on ABC and I believe the race is also on ABC.
  10. Build a better car ya twat. In my head that is what Binotto said to Toto, but probably not.
  11. Some crypto talk. The Plain Bagel has become my favorite YT financial channel. Actually, I believe it is the only one I watch since 99.9% of them are just trash. This guy never tells you to buy/sell and doesn't try to pump stuff. I recommend it to a lot of the younger people that work for us just getting into investing/finance.
  12. All player movement is frozen now that the finals are over. I do think trades only involving draft picks can still happen. Night before the draft trades involving lottery picks are frozen till after the draft. You can still trade all other picks for some reason.
  13. Bitcoin dropped below $20,000. It's about to drop below $19,000.
  14. Bill Simmons saying the Warriors aren't a dynasty is hilarious. He even said the Spurs weren't a dynasty.
  15. What it costs to win a title. This years salary cap was $112.4M. Golden State had a salary of $177.9M and a luxury tax of $184M for a total of $362M. That number is from the beginning of the season. So it might be slightly different now. But still a lot of coin for a title. Brooklyn spent like $300M and was swept in the first round.
  16. The Andrew Wiggins redemption arc is a nice story. He isn't the star you want from the #1 pick. But he has turned into a really nice player.
  17. Tatum was not good.
  18. Not sure how relevant Ford and GM are to Tesla. Tesla is a luxury brand and Ford won't even be competing in that market now that they are down to one or two sedan models. I suppose when Tesla starts to sell trucks it will be a little competition. VW and Toyota are the two for Tesla to worry about. Both will compete in the luxury sedan market and both are a lot more international than Ford or GM. Both are also a lot larger. You can combine Ford and GM revenue and they are still smaller than VW and Toyota. I would also probably be more worried about Rivian or some other upstart company. Lucid is supposed to be making a nice luxury sedan.
  19. I read that HBO is in early development on a sequel/spinoff to GoT centered around Jon Snow. Kit is involved and it will take place after the show ended.
  20. Tesla just went below my target price ($639). Still not interested in buying though. Sort of a commentary on how conservative I am. Currently watching 6 stocks and even with how bad things have been, Tesla is the only one below my target price.
  21. The one interesting thing about the Pistons pick. He mentions Mathurin, obviously. He also mentions Murray, Daniels, and even Sochan. Sharpe isn't mentioned by Sam at all, and Pennie just throws his name in at the end.
  22. Vecenie and Pennie did another mock on their podcast where they make each pick. A little goofy since Sam took Chet #1 and his reason was it would be silly for him not to pick the #1 guy on his board. Anyway, he picked Mathurin for Detroit at #5 and Murray was still on the board. I time stamped the video to start right at the Pistons pick.
  23. I was just looking up the protections on that pick and apparently it now belongs to OKC. It was traded last year in the Sengun trade. FWIW, here are the protections.
