  1. Anonymous NBA player poll 2025: MVP pick? Most overrated? Too many 3s? Some Detroit specific answers: Future face of the league - Cade was 8th with 2.2% of the vote Leagues most underrated player - Cade was 1st with 8.8% of the vote. Aside from your current coach, who is the best coach in the league? - JB was 9th with 2.7% of the vote Who would you least like to fight? - Stewart was 2nd with 13.5% of the vote. James Johnson was 1st of course with 63% of the vote. Do you like the idea of 10 min quarters? - 78% said no Are gambling partnerships good/bad for the league? 46% said bad. 34% said good. 12% in the middle. 8% undecided. Would you be willing to shorten the season if it meant less pay - 85% said no
  2. For all the bitching about the refs, Detroit shot 34 FT's while NYK shot 19.
  3. PwC was their independent auditor when I invested in Tesla. I assume they still are and would be my first answer.
  4. Buckle up. Tesla earnings call after market close today.
  5. I made a post before the series about how bad Detroit is at allowing wide open 3's. So far, the Knicks are attempting a wide open (No defender within 6 feet) 3PTA only 13.8% of the time. That ranks the Knicks as the worst team in the playoffs in the category. FWIW, we are the second worst at 14.4% but who cares, we split on the road.
  6. Not sure why Thibs took out the sledgehammer and ran iso Brunson over and over. But thank you. Not taking away from the nice defensive effort by Detroit, but its much easier to defend a team running the same play for the same player over and over. Letting us hide Duren on Hart is quite the gift. It's letting Duren come off of Hart and help a bit since Hart isn't a 3PT threat. He can get to the rim a bit though and is a good passer, averaging 6 APG. They should be running PnR with Hart as the ball handler and KAT screening. Harris and Duren defending the PnR together is something a team should want to exploit. Can anyone remember a single time it was run last night? Where were the doubles and traps on Cade? Cade will kill you if you can't speed him up and make him uncomfortable. The Knock on JB is he doesn't adjust well. Not a real X's and O's type of coach. He was smart last night letting Cade go one on one without screens. It helped keep the doubles away from Cade a bit. In game 1 when Cade came off of a screen he had one or two defenders waiting for him. That never happened last night. That with the hiding Duren on Hart has JB winning the coaching game so far.
  7. He's back and just told Ernie #1.
  8. Pretty sure Shaq just walked off the live set to take a dump.
  9. We need to get Giannis and Joker together somehow.
  10. 39 for Leonard and the win.
  11. I know the league had issues but man I love the playoffs.
  12. He doesn't need to fire Powell for the dump part. Dow Headed for Worst April Since 1932 as Investors Send ‘No Confidence’ Signal Overachiever
  13. Thank you.
  14. What could have been without those injuries.
  15. Is that a standalone series, or do I have to watch the movies?
  16. A bit shocked Payne played 0 minutes in the 2nd half.
  17. Knicks shot 35% from the field and 26% from three in the 2nd half. Towns had 3 shots and 0 points. Mikal "5 FRPS" Bridges shot 2-8 Thompson and then Schroder did a nice job on Brunson. He shot 37/14
  18. I was just on /r/NBA and people over there are just roasting Brunson for his foul seeking.
  19. JB should be talking about the Brunson hook nonstop until Thursday.
  20. Damn it. Game 7 is May 3rd. We are going to be in Louisville that day. Pistons better wrap this up in 6.
  21. Put that defensive effort for all 4 quarters of game 1 and they are going back to Detroit up 2-0.
  22. The defense was so much better. The entire team contributed on defense.
