The interesting thing I noticed with Cade out. The opposing defense is so basic.
When Cade plays the entire defense is geared towards stopping him with double and triple teams. When he doesn't play nobody ever gets doubled.
Burks was great and Ausar had 22 points which has to be his career high so far. But they gave up 145 points and you don't win a ton of games doing that.
Pretty sure the Pistons did the same for Morris when Flint Beecher retired his number.
Beecher has some pretty good former athletes, with 5 numbers retired. Carl Banks, Lonnie Young, Morris, Courtney Hawkins, and Roy Marble.
The Pistons are 4-37 but it is not the worst halfway start in league history. The 1993/94 Mavs hold that honor at 2-39. 5 other teams went 3-38 including the 1992/93 Mavs.
Since we were talking about the Wizards earlier this week.
They have now clinched a sub-50 win season. That is 45 years in a row they have not won 50+ games.
