    Embiid had 70 points tonight. It was against the Spurs but the little I watched they did not have Victor guarding Embiid.

    They have absolutely nobody to take over when Cade is out. Also, Duren really suffers when Cade is setting the table for him.

    Clippers were down 101-84 in the 4th quarter to Brooklyn. They ended up winning 125-114 including a 22-0 run in the final 6 minutes.

    The interesting thing I noticed with Cade out. The opposing defense is so basic. When Cade plays the entire defense is geared towards stopping him with double and triple teams. When he doesn't play nobody ever gets doubled.

    Burks was great and Ausar had 22 points which has to be his career high so far. But they gave up 145 points and you don't win a ton of games doing that.

    Ivey is difficult to like. He does a good thing and seems to follow that up with two bad things.

    Dame pushed off with his left arm and Thompson gets the foul called on him.

    The defense is just so bad. Even Thompson seems to have taken a step back from the beginning of the year.

    Duren is so soft around the basket. Hammer Giannis and make him shoot FT's.

    I half expected them to show Weaver on the phone working out a trade.

    Pretty sure the Pistons did the same for Morris when Flint Beecher retired his number. Beecher has some pretty good former athletes, with 5 numbers retired. Carl Banks, Lonnie Young, Morris, Courtney Hawkins, and Roy Marble.

    The Pistons are 4-37 but it is not the worst halfway start in league history. The 1993/94 Mavs hold that honor at 2-39. 5 other teams went 3-38 including the 1992/93 Mavs.

    Since we were talking about the Wizards earlier this week. They have now clinched a sub-50 win season. That is 45 years in a row they have not won 50+ games.

    Massive layoffs at Sports Illustrated today. A report I read said it might be every employee. SI is essentially dead.
