Those games make money before they produce a single game. They sell the board spaces to local businesses.

Best thing to do is move him at the deadline and try to salvage something from him. I don't even want him back at a cheap price if he doesn't improve his defense. Don't spend money on guys who are negatives in the playoffs.

Cant see it because its a paid site. But a few people have mentioned, Marc Stein reported that Duren's agent asked for north of $30 million per year on his extension.

It was already going to be pretty hard to trade Ivey or Duren. A team trading their star player is blowing it up, and they want picks and/or cheap talent, not guys due extensions this summer. Ivey was going to need a good 2-3 month run to entice people. But if he does miss 30 games, that means he is back at New Years and there is only a month before the trade deadline. I wouldn't count on him being a centerpiece in a trade for a star. It's actually looking more and more like the Pistons don't have the assets to obtain one.
