October 1st is the deadline for Kuminga's qualifying offer. After that he can only sign the normal contract. Both sides can agree to extend the deadline. But most feel Golden State won't because they want a resolution. They currently can't sign their free agents because the Kuminga situation has to be cleared up first. So Al Horford, De'Anthony Melton, and Gary Payton II cant participate in training camp next week. They are also rumored to be interested in Seth Curry. So they could start training camp with 4-5 guys (including Kuminga) not in camp.

Lebron and his agent starting a new league with Saudi money came up again today. Supposed to be a league that competes against the NBA but based in Europe. Some are suggesting this is Lebron using leverage to make the NBA give his ownership group the Vegas team when the time comes.
