His numbers are better than his Denver days. Same shooting percentage, 40%, but on higher volume. Averaging 4 more attempts. Higher volume same percentage is always impressive. Doing so, going from the third option to the first is really impressive. Backs are always tricky, but he has played 77 and 81 games the previous two seasons. If Brooklyn offered that deal, I would run to a phone and lock it in with the league office before they changed their minds. The biggest downside to MPJ is a lot of his baskets are assisted. Something like 75% of them are. So when Cade is on the bench, you can't really hand MPJ the ball and have hi m go to work. He still needs to be set up. Of course, if you could hand him the ball, he would be a top 10 player and wouldn't be available.

That volume is crazy. Doing that on a terrible team is crazy. Now put him on the court with Cade, a guy teams are going to concentrate on, and imagine what MPJ could do.

Let me save you a click. One is for MPJ which makes sense. But he has only giving up Harris, LeVert, a 1st (protected 1-10) and two seconds for MPJ. That isn't even close to being enough. Last two are Markkanen and Lavine. Pass on both.

I think we might be seeing one negative aspect of NIL money in college sports with Darryn Peterson at Kansas. He has only played in 7 of their 16 games. In all 7 games he has been pulled due to his leg cramping. I think he keeps trying to play because of his NIL deal. He should just shut it down and get healthy for the draft. He will go top 3 and that comes with a $40 million contract. Give back the NIL money if you have to, think of the bigger picture.

Nonprofit doesn't mean you don't seek profits. it's just a designation that defines what is done with the profits. Nonprofit gets invested back into the entity. For profit gets distributed to an owner and or shareholders.
