What you proposed with the swaps is legal. But I don't think a swap moves the needle for either of those teams. Detroit should be picking in the 20's for the next half decade. So a swap doesn't have a lot of value with Detroit.
It just depends on how those teams value Ivey and/or Holland. Murphy has 3 1/2 years left on his contract and MPJ has 1 1/2 years left. So neither team is in a position where they have to trade them. To get them you will have to throw out a really attractive package. The odds of landing one of them are really against us. Landing both isn't realistic IMO.
