  1. He dumped a lot of resources into the least important position. Plenty of centers get productive minutes in the regular season and can't get on the court come playoff time. Hopefully Duren can develop a skillset that allows him to stay on the floor in the playoffs. I guess we don't need to worry about the playoffs much around here.
  2. Perry was part of the Pistons organization as well.
  3. I just assumed it was an OT game with that score. It wasn't.
  4. For their career Ivey is at 17.4% and Cade is 17.1%. So sample size isn't the issue. They list two types of TO's. Bade Pass and Lost Ball. Ivey is 70%/30% while Cade is 66%/34%. Thompson and Sasser are obviously sample size problems. But Thompson is over 17% while Sasser is 9.9%. Hayes is great this year at 8.6% TO rate. But for his career he is probably the worst on the team at 18.2%. Curious to see if he can maintain the improvement or not.
  5. Wow, this is depressing. Cade is one of the biggest TO machines in the league. But he isn't even the worst one on the team. Cade turns it over 18.3% of his possessions. Ivey turns it over 19.4% of his possessions. Duren is the worst at 21.7%. The Ivey and Duren numbers are really bad considering they don't face the defensive pressure that Cade does. League average is just under 13%.
  6. Except, nobody on earth thought this team was a .500 team, even fully healthy. There is a reason every one picked them to win under 30 games. https://theathletic.com/5079465/2023/11/21/pistons-mailbag-front-office/?source=emp_shared_article
  7. You will love this. Poole wasting time while 10 down in the 4th.
  8. Chet might have ROY wrapped up by Christmas.
  9. Funny because Lewis Hamilton is part of the Bronco ownership group.
  10. I agree. But man, what a pattern we are seeing from Gores. Fire Joe the season after he signs Gordon and Charlie V. Fire SVG the year after he trades for Blake. Fire Weaver the year after he hires Williams. Now Williams won't handcuff us like the other two moves did. But a new GM doesn't want to be stuck with a coach he didn't hire for the next six years. And at $12M a year, he isn't getting fired anytime soon. This isn't Texas A&M. If you are that close to firing someone, maybe don't let them make franchise altering moves right before you do.
  11. Give Weaver 6 or 7 more first round picks and then we can make the push to win 30 games.
  12. I still laugh when I see citizens walk onto the court and get blasted by professional athletes.
