I agree. Here is what he said about Cade on the podcast. It really hits home when they start talking about the 2nd best player on each team for Cade, Mitchel, Ant, and Lebron. It should play where they start to talk about Cade. If no FF to 3m15s.

Ausar staying out of foul trouble will be huge. I expect NY to run some double action at him. Early screens to try and force Hardaway to switch onto Brunson and then go into their PnR with Hardaway/Duren defending instead of Thompson/Duren. Even if the Pistons don't switch, it's an extra screen for Thompson to run through and maybe pick up a foul. I was encouraged to see Stew on KAT in the 4th last week. But it probably needs to happen earlier. If Brunson and KAT are murdering the Pistons with the PnR in the 1st half, it might not matter who plays the 4th quarter. Cade needs to be efficient. Scoring 28 on 25 shots won't cut it. He also needs to watch the unforced TO's. He has a habit of throwing some of the dumbest/laziest passes sometimes. KAT is a marshmallow so Cade can get to the rim with ease. Might even see some double big lineups with Robinson if Cade is getting to the rim a lot. Cade needs his Robin. He needs another player to be in that 20 point range.

Knicks in 5. I have tried every way possible to pick the Pistons and just can't get there. Cade is good enough to get them one win but he wont have enough help to do much else.

That should be a foul on Herro but its after the shot so the basket should count IMO.

Well at 47% Herro is scoring 1.41 points per wide open 3PT shot. Someone in the post would have to shoot 71% to beat that. That is the simple answer. Post players would get a slight bump because they get more and1's. They also get the other team in foul trouble more. You also have to account for the big passing out and possibly turning it over. All that is above my pay grade. But i imagine all teams have people that know those numbers.

Numbers. If a big is going off in the post and shooting 60% from that spot, you can send help off any shooter that shoots below 40% from three. Even a bit higher when you figure in the odds of the big turning it over when he tries to kick it out.
