Question of the day. Would you give Nickeil Alexander-Walker the full MLE, which is just over $14 million. So probably something like 3/$45 or 4/$60 million. Don't only consider the cost, consider it would mean you also lose Beasley.

The Ishbia family is taking over sports. He is building a 68,000 square foot home on Lake Michigan. Cost to acquire the land (he had to buy 4 different homes) and build the new house will be roughly $80 million. The Suns owner is doing something similar in West Bloomfield.

A few bigs I’m looking at. Some as the third big some as a Duren replacement in a trade. Day'Ron Sharpe – Mobile big with a very limited offensive game who offers no spacing. I did some digging and his first few years they had him playing drop coverage, and he sucked at it. They changed him to a more perimeter-based defense, doubling the PnR ball handler, hedging, etc. and he thrived. Big guy, 6’11” 260 pounds but moves very well and has quick hands. He could get expensive, possibly $8 million plus. Guerschon Yabusele – Defined as a mobile big on defense and floor spacer on offense. An older player, he will turn 30 in December. Played a few years in his early 20s then went back to Europe for 5 or 6 years. Came back last year and played well. Shot 38% from three on 4 attempts per game. Can play both C and PF. Again, he will be expensive, probably the full MLE ($14 million). Tristan Vukcevic – Third big candidate. He hasn’t even played 50 games yet. But in the 35 he played last year he shot 37% from three and he just turned 22 in March. I feel your third big should always be a young guy you are developing. And stretch bigs continue to be more and more important. He would be very cheap. Bobby Portis – Just adding him because everyone has him on their list. Not real sure where he plays unless a center or Harris is being moved. I would guess around the full MLE for him as well. Andre Drummond – Stop. Just stop. Brook Lopez – Maybe on a very cheap 1-year deal. Other than that, not really interested. Myles Turner – Of course. But the path to having the money isn’t very realistic. Santi Aldama - Pretty good player, but seems a bit soft to me. Stretch big though. Doesn't matter, since I think Memphis matches most sane offers. You would have to be around $20 million per before they don't match.
