There needs to be a plethora of people from his administration who have the intestinal fortitude to step up, and give the straight from the hip truth about who this man was, and why he should never be given the chance to sit behind that desk again. Country before politics. They can’t sit silently on the side for this one. And if they do, they are complicit.

That’s true. I learned the minimum in my Catholic grammar school. Learned a little more in h.s., but much of what you referred to - dates & places… However, the one world history class I took in college, covered the French Revolution and the American Revolution (& the professor was adamant with us that the French Revolution was so much more important to world history 🙂), THaT class was worth something, because of the discussions. I think if I could find the energy (I have free time, but not so much energy lately), I would like to audit a college level American history class.

Have any of these people ever even read the Constitution? Or any part thereof? Or ever taken a history class where early American government was studied? (As CMr said)

Yes… what is wrong with “us”… the American voter. Trump, and a plethora of very unqualified, unethical, and intellectually challenged individuals are being elected by VOTERS. We can rail against the media, but it’s the responsibility of the citizen voter to educate themselves on issues and the candidates.

Every single day, every single time this abomination opens his mouth, more hateful, lying, disgraceful **** pours out of his lips. And what have we done? We have normalized every last ****ing bit of it. I am sick to death of him not being called out on any of the crap that he says. I am beyond appalled and disgusted by members of Congress welcoming back this traitorous, dangerous, disgusting man, back into Washington, and Cheering him. What the hell is wrong with all of them? More to the point - What the hell is wrong with US? Good lord, when do we stop accepting his daily verbal vomit as “oh, …. It’s just Trump being Trump”.

Absolutely no one I know who is a feminist or an LGBTQ+ friend feels this way. Maybe it’s a regional thing. Might also be my particular age group. While there is dismay concerning the number of obvious innocents who have been killed in this situation, most recognized that Hamas cannot be appeased nor negotiated with. They are disease. They, and their hateful rhetoric are what has prevented a free Palestine. So, I will have to respectfully disagree with your assessment.

And, btw, hoping that this Menendez jury gets it right. Don’t know how he was able to duck Justice last time, except to say perhaps the prosecution didn’t dot all their i’s & cross all their t’s. I was infuriated when he got reelected. I don’t know how people pulled that lever for him last time. And him claiming his “innocence”… ummm. No. Not”innocent”, just not found guilty. This time, I believe he’ll be found guilty of all charges, and I hope they lock him up and throw away the key. edit to add: this son of a bitch has the nerve to say now that for this next election he will run as an Independent. The fact that he would do that and totally screw the Democratic candidate only compounds my extreme disgust for this guy. He’s criminal.

What am I listening to? Dave Mason!! And his band. At a small venue in Newton NJ - farm country…. His audience’s age probably averaged out to mid-70’s, I’d think. 😁 Lots of gray mullets on the men, too-high espadrilles on a smattering of women, the rest in sneakers, crocs, sandals. Dave looks and sounds great, and can definitely still rock out. Fun night. Definitely raised my spirits and made me feel like a 20-something for a few hours.
