  1. I think they’ll be some guilty verdicts on some counts, and maybe some not…. I wonder if the judge will give instructions on some of the counts that they can find him guilty - and a choice of a felony , or a lesser offense - a misdemeanor. Or NOT a choice - felony count - guilty or not guilty. Evidently, it will depend the judge’s instructions to the jury. (I didn’t realize this)
  2. First Italian ice of the season today. When my dad was alive, we’d hit this place in March. Even when he couldn’t remember my name, he still knew where we were when we pulled up to this place. Had lemon ice today, in your memory, Dad.
  3. ❤️❤️❤️. oh, man. So sweet
  4. I am mainly annoyed that when the media is reporting the story, they seem to want to concentrate on MTG and AOC. AOC merely pointed out that MTG was out of order and that the comments should be stricken. MTG then elevated it to another nasty little round of comments….With the chick from the Bronx more or less letting her know that perhaps it might be a mistake to play with her. (🙂 that was amusing)
  5. That headline is totally not representative of what happened. At all.
  6. Boebert & Gaetz have to be two Congress persons that have the biggest sleaze/ick factor of them all…. and to think the optics of those two sitting behind the defendant is going to play well with the jury, no matter what their political makeup, is the stupidest move imaginable. How idiotic.
  7. Literally getting away with murder
  8. Btw, when the F are the federales just going to cuff Bannon and take him to serve his jail time? And if they can kick him in the keester a few times too, I’d appreciate it. And rip off at least one of the three extra shirts he’s wearing. (I’ll add to this list)
  9. I’m waiting for moderators/panel to rebut immediately when an outright lie is broadcast as a truth. Or at least follow up questions that indicate they were at least paying attention. Is that really too much to ask?
  10. lol. Mike Johnson is going to be at the courthouse for Trump today.…… …… because, that’s what’s deemed important to do for the country? What a joke.
  11. From your mouth to the ears of (hopefully) most Americans. I’m probably delusional.
  12. Well, Ronz, count me among the millions who would absolutely LOVE to see you stunned as all hell. 😁 Here’s hoping that the jury will be able to connect the dots that are very obviously there.
  13. I’m worried that because Alan Weisselberg won’t be called as a witness in this case (even if he’d get on the stand and lie), he’s probably the one needed to point to Trump and say “he knew this was how we were going to handle paying Stormy off, and re-paying Michael”. Might make it easier for even one juror to say “you haven’t absolutely tied Donald to the business fraud as the controlling player”. Worrisome.
  14. My God, if Trump didn’t run his whole life and his whole business like a mob boss, we wouldn’t be here. If the 130 K had just been paid to stormy, even if it was in and out of that account that Cohen set up, everything would’ve been fine and legal. The fact that they tried to hide it, the way they and report it as a business expense when it was nothing of the sort, this is where the criminal illegality is, and is very very evident. He’s guilty, and the cross-examining by the defense can hammer Michael Cohen, calling him “liar liar liar” for the next two days - it does not matter. Everything he’s said today as far as what he did for Trump and how these hush money payments were camouflaged as opposed to just an outright payment, is where this is going to be Trump’s downfall. He’s a criminal.
  15. … and, now, I know who it is. I guess I honestly never made note of his name before.
  16. I’ve also never heard of him
  17. Jaw -dropping disturbing and scary. I’m horrified because you can’t just dismiss this news out of hand . 🤬
  18. Oh, damn! 😂. That’s right. smh 🤦‍♀️ …. but I still did love Firesign Theater routines.
  19. I’m going to reference something that only very old people here (like me) might get the reference… The Firesign Theater comedy group had some great bailiff quotes that are coming back into my memory bank lately. I actually thought of one after the E. Jean Caroll case that was totally appropriate. That is all I’m sharing 🙂
  20. You would think so, but we are now 7+ years removed from normalcy, so I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you.
  21. I’m actually glad to know that Barron will be acknowledged.
