Last night, having trouble falling asleep (but not wanting to actually get out of bed), I listened to a podcast Strike Force Five. I listened to the episode where the guys were discussing their wives. Just listening to the laughter was the key to me settling down enough that I was asleep at some point before it ended. i will probably listen to others, but will also try and line up other comic podcasts…. They seem to help me sleep better than melatonin, ambien , etc. 🙂

Bob & his stupid ass wife should go to jail. and I don’t want to hear any bull**** like “well let’s see what happens during the trial“. He should resign today, and he and his idiot wife should shut their mouth, go to trial, and then go straight off to the orange jumpsuits. I’m sick of this ****.

The vaccine was never meant as something to wholly prevent you from getting Covid, but if contracted, mitigate the effects for you. In other words, you might get sick, but your chances of landing in the hospital (or, in the early days, DYING) would be reduced. I’ll never understand why some people want to call the Covid vaccine development & suggested administration of it a hoax because “you still get Covid.” Very frustrating.

I’ll get the Covid booster probably within the next two or three weeks. (*btw, I’ve not had Covid yet - I think. Haven’t had an antibody test) I’ll get my flu shot near the end of October. The other shot my doctor recommended I get is the only one I’m worried about (because I’ve heard people have kind a bad time with the 2 shots needed) is the shingles vaccine. A friend of mine got a particularly awful case of shingles about a year and a half ago, and that is the only reason I’m probably going to bite the bullet and get that particular vaccine because that was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen someone endure - she was in total agony for quite some time. Absolutely awful.

I saw that. He is such a fool, with these self-incriminating stunts….. although it is obvious that these interviews may kill him as far as the law is concerned, but it’s all done for the personal reason of shoring up his support among the masses. What he’s doing at this point is really contaminating the jury pool. I’m kind of surprised that the judges are still allowing him to do this ****.

He really is good.

I want Corey Booker for President. He’s so so so freakin’ happy all the time. I guess cause not only is he single (but fairly certain not gay, though wouldn’t matter not one iota to me), but he’s also vegan. He’ll be a less miserable s.o.b. because, you know… more “regular”. … 😏…. Less “backed up”. He tells great corny jokes. And he’s a daily runner, even in a few questionable neighborhoods…. So , I’m guessing he’s got some speed when needed. He’s a good egg. He’s Superman.

So sorry! It’s never long enough, but what a blessing to have had his friendship for two decades! ❤️
