Sorry, folks. The posts are ridiculous. The number of them posted at a time are also ridiculous. But, currently, they aren’t necessarily against the rules, … Now, having said that, it’s my (maybe foolish) hope that dpg would actually like to remain a member here, and might entertain the notion that maybe posting one or two might be enough at a time, and that 3,4,5 etc. in each thread might be excessive, and might also push way too many of my buttons. I guess we’ll see.

I’m listening to another round of very loud thunderstorms today. Lots of lightning, lots of rain, plenty of noise. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t lose power. 🤞🏼

Tonight, I took advantage of some ripe tomatoes, EVOO, plenty of fresh basil, and garlic (& some red pepper flakes), and just boiled up some red lentil pasta. You don’t cook any of the other ingredients, just add it to the cooked/drained macaroni. I’d normally also add some freshly grated locatelli, but I wasn’t in a cheese mood. I love summer pastas.

Spaghetti pie was a staple growing up… whenever there was spaghetti or linguine leftover (& my mother always made plenty), you could guarantee this would show up a few days later. And we all loved it. Yours looks fantastic!👍
