Mets gonna Met. I came across a whole lotta despondent/disgusted Mets fans today. The only thing that’ll lift their spirits in the near future is the Yankees getting beat quickly.

So, I got this for free from my town’s “Buy Nothing” FB group….…. And, unlike the cat bed I had to BUY from Amazon, that Sam ignored for a week or so, he took to this cat tree IMMEDIATELY! 🙂

He also thinks that if you don’t vote for him, you “won’t be redeemed”. Well, it looks like Trump is getting his money’s worth out of judge Cannon, who just overruled the special master judge Dearie’s order pertaining to trump needing to produce a list of the items. She often overruled Judge Dearie. I can’t even. ======================== CNN — Former President Donald Trump got another boost in his bid to challenge the FBI search of his Florida home, with US District Judge Aileen Cannon reshaping the plan put forward by the special master she appointed to review the materials seized at Mar-a-Lago last month. Cannon nixed several aspects of the plan proposed by senior Judge Raymond Dearie, who was put forward by Trump for the third-party review, that would have required the former President to make uncomfortable assertions in court, including whether he actually believes the FBI planted evidence at Mar-a-Lago, as he has suggested in public statements. Dearie has shown himself to be far less sympathetic to Trump’s claims than Cannon, who Trump had nominated in 2020 and was confirmed by the Senate after the November 2020 election. On Thursday, Cannon also pushed back the timeline for the review by at least a half-month, while making clear that additional litigation that Trump will have the chance to bring, after the special master process is finished, challenging the search will remain on her docket. It’s unclear what the delay and the other opportunities Trump will have to hamstring the review will mean for the larger Justice Department investigation, which is looking at whether crimes were committed in how documents from the Trump White House were handled.

Allow me to rebut. 🙂⚾️ It’s a NY thing to care about Yankee milestones being surpassed. The Babe’s 60, and Maris’s 61. I don’t hear local fans conversation wanting, or expecting the”world” to give a shit. I’m enjoying being on “Judge watch”… and I’m hoping he ties/breaks the 61 against the Red Sox this weekend. I’ve said before here on this site that this year is Yankees team just isn’t a favorite of mine by any stretch of the imagination. For the most part, they’re just way too streaky, and I am not a Gerrit Cole fan at all. However, when they play well, they play really well which is fun. Even if they were to go to the World Series and win it, it’s not that I wouldn’t be happy, but I still never talk about this year‘s team as being a favorite. Soooooooo…. GO JUDGE. Go YANKEES.

Evidently when his lawyers were in that meeting with Judge Dearie today, they referred to Trump as “the president“. Not former president, not ex-president, but “the president“. I would hope they were corrected.
