I've been just lurking and just observing on these Redwing boards for a long time, and have relegated myself to patience with this team for awhile now, but I cant take much more of this unmitigated ass hockey...this is getting ridiculous, especially as far as Stevey Y is concerned...HE put this team/roster together, and they're currently the 3rd oldest team in the NHL 5 years in; where's all the young guys?! At this rate, it'll take more than the famous Ken Holland "it takes 10 years bruh!" plan. If this team chokes and doesnt make the playoffs this season, then they MUST make it next season, or Steve needs to go, period, dot, dot, dot.

Chapman has 7 hits, 6 rbi's and a .233 BA...he'd be the best hitter on this team 🤷‍♂️

I dont think he's bad persay, but Chapman's significantly better imo...but hope Gio prove's me wrong.

I'm gonna keep a trollishly close eye on what the Tigers patchwork 3rd base position bat does this season, compared to what Matt Chapman's everyday, starting 3rd base bat does, and Harris's most Avila-esque thing he's done so far imo.

Early hot take - Matt Chapman, so far this season, with his 7 hits and 6 RBI's and paltry .233 BA, would be the best hitter (and 3rd baseman) on the Tigers right now, and will finish the season with a better BA and more RBI's than anyone on the Tigers...

At least we have the A's coming in this weekend, they's worse than the ChiSox or Mets...so this Tigers team needs to make hay and win while they can. This offense may very well bring everybody crashing down to reality once we face actual good teams...I'm prepared for more 1-0/2-1 type losses, it's been a good 7 years now of that happening, and this offense doesnt look like it's gonna change that all that much.

Gratz to the Mets tbh...but eventually our ass offense only scoring one run isnt gonna cut it, but 5-1 is nice.
