Any interest in Josh Bell? I would really like to see the Tigers sign Jose Abreu away from the White Sox, however I believe Abreu’s contract demands could be very pricey for Scott Harris.

I realize this probably isn’t gonna happen because Al Avila is no longer Detroit’s GM, however JV needs to come back home to finish his fabulous career. Put the cherry atop the cake and enter the HOF as a Detroit Tiger. Right now, I’m thinking with my heart and not my head.

The Tigers have a new Director of Baseball Operations. I believe AJ Hinch and his entire coaching staff will be fired at the end of this current season. Don’t be shocked if Bruce Bochy is named new field manager in Detroit. Bruce hasn’t been retired and away from the game for long.

I believe Kinsler is currently working for the San Diego Padres in their front office. Perhaps bring in Joe Girardi as the new Tigers field manager. I know Girardi had some bad Phillies teams, however I would rather hire Joe Girardi over Joe Maddon. I could never tolerate Maddon’s costumes road trips when he managed the Tampa Bay Rays. Pay AJ Hinch to stay home in 2023 and start a new rebuild. Bud Black(Colorado) and former Tiger(Torey Lovullo) may also be looking for jobs after 2022 but I’d still hire Girardi.

I would suggest the Tigers trade Spencer Torkelson, however I am sure Al Avila would find a way to mess up the transaction. I believe the Tigers missed on the drafting of Casey Mize, Matt Manning and Spencer Torkelson. I hope I am proven wrong, soon.

I believe Detroit should be allowed to void Eduardo Rodriguez’s contract. I just hope MLB doesn’t allow him(Rodriguez) to pitch for another team in 2023, 2024 or 2025. Im not sure if MLB can suspend a player for that length of time, however I believe it would be unfair to the Tigers if Rodriguez was allowed to sign and pitch for any other team in 2023. At some point, I’m sure the MLB players association will get involved in this mess.

Bobby Higginson liked the ladies a little too much and I believe they were a distraction and contributed to his downfall.

Hopefully, Miggy will be selected for the All-Star game in Los Angeles.

I’m happy Drew Hutchison was credited with the win this evening. DFA twice, declared free agency twice and signed 3 minor league contracts all in one season. Hutchison, I believe, signed his first minor league contract to attend spring training. Baseball is a strange, terrifying and lovely game at the same time.

Detroit should option Beau Brieske to Toledo and let Garrett Hill have at least one more start.

Did I read the box score correctly? Detroit was 0-12 with runners in scoring position and 10 runners left on base. Truly a terrible effort this evening. The Tin Men need ❤️.

I cannot believe Al Avila hasn’t sent Spencer Torkelson to AAA. I wouldn’t be surprised when Torkelson begins losing his confidence at the plate. I know Torkelson was drafted #1 overall, however Detroit’s front office brass should send him to AAA for at least six weeks. Let Torkelson work on his swing before hitting .192 damages Torkelson’s career. Al Avila isn’t being smart with Torkelson’s development.

When are the Tigers going to reinstate Eduardo Rodriguez to the 40 man roster? I haven’t heard any new updates.

Al Avila, AJ Hinch and V.P. of Player Development(Ryan Garko) need to be fired and thrown out of the Tigers office building.

I would suggest hiring Joe Girardi to replace AJ Hinch, however under Girardi’s tutelage, the Phillies defense was no better than the Tigers defense.

The Angels just fired Joe Maddon during a 12 game loosing streak and yet, Al Avila and AJ Hinch still have their jobs. Frustrating times in Detroit. Avila and Hinch are laughing all the way to the bank. It’s truly disgusting.

I admit I don’t know much about statistics and the technicalities of baseball, however I do know Javy Baez is a much better player than Neifi Perez. It’s going to be entertaining watching Javy Baez blasting baseballs all over various ballparks once he breaks out of his slump.

I live out of the Detroit television market and don’t have the MLB programming on my cable or phone. I only watched highlights of the game on YouTube. I did see a pre-game interview with Roger Clemens. At that particular time, he wasn’t wearing any Tigers clothing.

I know Roger never played for the Tigers, however I was hoping he would don a Detroit cap for Kody Clemens debut. Most parents, don some Tigers clothing, to see their son’s MLB debut. Roger appeared to be wearing a cap and polo shirt advertising a business.

I agree. Detroit should offer Dallas Keuchel a two year contract. The remainder of 2022 and 2023. 8 million guaranteed and a $500,000 signing bonus.

Does Baez like playing in Detroit? I just hope Baez doesn’t become a malcontent much like David price. David Price never wanted to leave the Tampa Bay Rays, and I believe he hated every second in Detroit. Price also hated playing in Boston. Price confronted Dennis Eckersley, on the team plane, after a Red Sox loss.

At this point in the 2022 season, I don’t care if Baez opts out of his contract after the 2023 season.
