  1. You mean Zach Neto, owner of .225/.308/.377 slashline? Who was only able to play in 84 games due to injuries? Let's not act like he was an all-star when he was called up and he also wouldn't have pushed Javy off of SS and with Keith 2B is more than likely occupied. I would not call him a fit short-term just based on roster construction. Long-term maybe but short term I don't see it.
  2. Tork and Keith both with 2-Run doubles off Manoah
  3. Road team gets the B team it seems.
  4. Interesting that Dickerson played with Clark and McGonigal on team USA so they probably had plenty of film and reports on him
  5. Respectfully, the Angels are their own breed when calling up their prospects. They brought up Nolan Schanuel like a month after drafting him last year and it's not like 2022 draftees are being called up in droves already. That being said I would be shocked if Jung didn't get a September call-up at the very least this year if he is tearing it up in AAA.
  6. Ohtani and Yamamoto obviously /s
  7. The Chris Illitch lovefest is interesting. I don't think I have seen this with other teams but I don't really follow other teams either. I think he gets a bad rap from people who think he is a cheap owner. Is he his dad when it comes to going out and signing high profile free agents every winter? No, but he has put considerable money to bring facilities and other things into the present and the Dominican Academy is no small expense either. He has spent money (see E-Rod and Baez) now you could say he didn't spend his money wisely but he probably left that up to the people who told him these are players that would make a difference.
  8. Don't sleep on Eddys Leonard either, the beat writers have been calling him a dark horse candidate all offseason and he has CF, 2B and SS possibilities.
  9. That is an interesting tactic by Harris. He was ranked #158 by pipeline for last year's draft.
  10. Just be sure you have an ad-blocker if any of you decide to take to the high seas. 🏴‍☠️
  11. This is an interesting way to see some prospects. https://www.mlb.com/news/spring-breakout-faq-2024?t=mlb-pipeline-coverage
  12. FG with their top 100 prospects out today. 16. Jobe (Mayer is 69 for those of you tracking at home) 36. Clark (Langford is #2) 46. Keith 48. Jung
  13. Also interesting Hurter at 9 and Eddys Leonard at 11 and Dingler didn't make the top 20.
  14. That is interesting, he had such a solid season before I wonder why he would go outside the org.
