  1. I mean I hear you, I was basing this on FanGraphs as they have Phillips as a 45 and Petty as a 45+ which would be in line with previous trade deadline returns for rentals. If Lorenzen keeps up his current performance, he would be more than a BOR guy. Even with his poor beginning of the season, he has a 1.02 WHIP 3.75 ERA on the season. He has gone 6+ innings in 6 out of the last 7 starts. Even his last start against AZ was going great until the 7th inning and had 2 inherited runners score.
  2. I'll be honest, I don't see a scenario outside of terrible results/injury that Lorenzen is a Tiger after the deadline. They would probably bring up Bergner or Hurter to fill the spot if they had to or stretch out Alexander again.
  3. Agreed, I would prefer to have Chase Petty or Connor Phillips over Stoudt even if we don't get a second player in return
  4. This has to be one of the most heartbreaking ways to lose a game.

  6. Yeah he did which honestly feels weird they didn't really address it
  7. It sounds like Brieske is getting moved to the arm barn. Honestly, he could make a good reliever.
  8. It is concerning, but he wasn't moved to the 7-Day so may just be a small thing. Also that Dingler bomb was straight away center no doubter.
  9. Montero is dealing so far. Has 8K's over 5 innings so far.
  10. Keith is out of the lineup again 😬
  11. If you have some time in your day you can watch the Seawolves today at noon: https://www.mlb.com/news/watch-minor-league-baseball-games-for-free?t=mlb-pipeline-coverage

  13. Or Houston but last time we did that it didn't turn out so well. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/06/astros-trade-rumors-left-handed-bat-versatile-outfield-first-base.html
  14. I agree, fortunately he is still only 23 but he will need to unlock some more of the power he had last year against RH. What is interesting is last year he had a .196/.225/.336 line against LH and a .290/.376/.512 line against RH but this year he has a .270/.309/.508 line against LH and a .234/.328/.380 vs RH. If he could only unlock the success against RH he had last year with his success against LH this year he would be in Detroit.

Would love to see Perez pushed up to AAA but this regime is a bit of a wildcard when it comes to when people are getting pushed up.
