He did seem quite bitter basically saying he never got a chance and wants to prove them wrong and I mean Colt Keith is a combo of Conor Mcgregor and Joey Votto so he should be in-line for the ROY at the very least.
The puff pieces are getting an early start, so far the Freep has put out something about Colt Keith, Roberto Campos, Mario Feliciano, Cristin Santana, Diego Rincones, and Trey Wingenter.
I was perusing Keith Law's chat and saw these 3 comments in a row. I think it provides context on how ridiculous fan bases are and how subjective some of the numbers are. I really only enjoy them in the offseason because honestly I can only handle discussion on why we didn't bring up Trayce Thompson for so long. That being said I love that everyone thinks Keith Law hates their team.
Another day, another list this time we have 4 in the top 100 albeit in the later half.

So the Mets have something like 4 catchers that they are going to have to juggle if the season started tomorrow. If you were Harris would you reach out about McCann and see if you could get them to throw in a mid-level prospect to get that deal off of their books? I don't know that Cohen cares but he is owed something $24 million over the next two years.
Just a quick look it looks like they represent Goldschmidt, Schwarber, Kyle Tucker, Dansby Swanson, Springer as a few. Not sure if there are any FA that they represent that are out there now though.
Reading through that it certainly seems he has embraced the data and honestly seems like he knows what he is talking about. Obviously that doesn't mean he will for sure be successful but it certainly doesn't hurt.
Since the big club has no chance of making it to the playoffs it is fun to watch Erie go for it. They won last night 5-3 in 11 innings. Meadows went 3/4 with a 2B, 2 RBI, BB and K while it looks like they used Alvarado as an opener with Hurter following with 4.2 IP and 6K. Serretti went 1/3 with a BB and K and Workman with a 1/5 4K night. The night though belonged to Josh Crouch who hit his first AA homerun in the top of the 11th with one on to put the Wolves up 5-2.
In the 48 AB this September Meadows is hitting an unsustainable .396/.453/.563 good for a 1.016 OPS. Good to see him show up during this playoff run and to build on his August performance.
