It depends. In some cases it's just people walking out to show support.
And in some cases people make an effort to support small businesses instead of big ones-and that's a habit that can continue long after the day in question.
Kind of reminds me of those texts I get from random unknown numbers asking if I'm 'free to play golf' or something. Or the DMs I get from people on social media that later get labeled "account deleted.'
Not quite the same, but somehow similar. In both cases it's best to ignore the message.
Interestingly, it turns out that the MN childcare centers that were 'exposed' for not having children in their care.... actually did have children in their care.
Trying to get a letter to state that I'm ready to return to work has proved to be an exercise in futility this time around. So many phone calls, emails, and messages... for almost 2 weeks. I've only talked to an actual human once.
A lot of people forget that a lot of what the activists at the time were doing were illegal, or otherwise things they were told not to do. They had sit ins, disrupted traffic, got in people's faces.
The whole world was watching. It still is.
I'm hoping a lot of Emerson students get them and send the $50 to left leaning causes. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if the money was refused to them in the end.
