  1. Gibbs is a unique weapon(IMO) and I can't imagine he doesn't get a second contract at top of market. Assuming he hasn't even entered his prime...his prime could/would be ridiculous. LaPorta still gives me 'just happy to be here' vibes and seems like the type that could take a little less to stay. Branch is a no brainer...pay him!!!
  2. There is a reason that Hooker beat him out. He was just better. Maybe Milton will be a better pro but he is super raw(even at 25 years old). Talent has never been an issue but he couldn't win the job at Michigan or Tennessee. Only reason he started at UT was because Nico was a true freshman. By all accounts, he is a good guy but if he puts it together...he is Cam Newton size with Stafford arm strength.
  3. Shear talent alone will allow Milton to bounce around for long time. I live in Knoxville and watched him miss open receiver after open receiver after open receiver. If you need a Hail Mary from 75 yards out...he's your guy. Maybe he gets a QB whisperer that unlocks all of the talent he obviously has but until then he is a harder working Jamarcus Russell.
  4. I remember the good old days when we had a hard time nailing a 1st round pick let alone 2nd's and 3rd's. Boss Bailey, Jordan Dizon, Mike Williams, Gosder Cherilus, Ikaika Alama-Francis, Shaun Cody, Kerrion Johnson(injuries), Jahvid Best(injuries), Jeff Okuda and many many many more. Brad crushing it 3 years in a row can't be an anomaly but even if he hits on 2-3 guys...only, most teams would kill for that.
  5. The way the defense and special teams are playing the offense needs to just be not terrible. Fortunately, they are not terrible and quite effective running the ball. Passing game will be fine. Points will come. Red zone was much better. More concerned that Minn seems to be pretty good and GB getting it done with Willis.
  6. Been here for years. A part of the silent majority. Guess I just forgot how bad it can get on here during games:)

  8. Hey TP, Maybe take next week off. Sincerely, Everyone
  9. Living in Knoxville I can tell you that he is a much better passer than runner. He can run/scramble but this not what made him SEC player of the year. He is accurate and makes good decisions. I say this lightly...like an Aaron Rodgers type.
  10. Doubt it. No team is immune to dropping a gimme. They are flawed as most teams are. Someone will catch them off guard.
  11. Really looked forward to coming to the office this morning to read this thread. You guys(I assume) are hilarious and did not disappoint!!!
  12. Dan, Ben, officials, Jamo, Reynolds, Patterson, Hutch and Captain Jack
  13. If memory serves me. Suh's rookie year in 2010 they were 2-10 and won their last 4 to close out the season. 2011 was a playoff year(and fun year to watch) These things can carry over. I think the pieces are in place. In Brad we trust...LFG!!!
