  1. You could move to Ukraine and report back? That would be interesting.

  3. https://securityassistance.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Ukraine-Costs-Fact-Sheet-v2.pdf This does even include recent months. Figure (2) breaks this aid down into different allocation streams and disbursement channels. Of these appropriated funds, $19.05 billion has been obligated in direct security assistance packages by the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of State (DOS). As for disbursements, no clear data has been released, although obligated PDA aid – totaling $11.45 billion – is expected to transfer immediately.

  5. Does that apply to Ukraine too? Video footage has since been published suggesting that Ukrainian troops may have executed surrendering Russian officers in the town of Makiivka. Back in 2019, the International Criminal Court (ICC) determined that Ukrainian forces committed possible war crimes against Russian soldiers in eastern Ukraine. It is now Ukrainian military's turn to be accused of war crimes. Admittedly, on a lesser scale and seriousness than those of which the Russian forces occupying Ukrainian territory have been accused. But several videos circulating on social media since March 27, filmed by Ukrainian soldiers, show them inflicting wounds on and executing Russian prisoners of war. In a video filmed near a hangar, soldiers shot at point-blank range into the legs of three servicemen with their hands tied behind their backs, wearing the white armband identifying Russian forces. https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2022/12/16/ukraine-must-investigate-alleged-war-crimes-by-its-forces https://www.lemonde.fr/en/international/article/2022/04/09/ukraine-s-military-accused-of-war-crimes-against-russian-troop_5980121_4.html

  8. Word is the Lions didn't want to be left in the cold. Williams actually wanted to come back, but the agent botched it.
  9. I have on good word, Big V will be back but with a reworked contract. No it is not a twitter source.
  10. Inflation and falling real wages falling should be the #1 issue for Republicans and take up 90% of the time anyone of them is speaking. It is getting worse as well. If housing cost and grocery bills continue to soar, less people will care about what happens in Ukraine.
  11. First round WR are expected to produce. Josh reynolds and Raymond are your 3rd/4th guys on the depth chart. Which is fine. Swift and Montgomery are good pass catchers as well.
  12. Williams apparently re-signed.
  13. Liberal activist District Attorney wants light sentencing for a gang member who killed a baby.
  14. I mean, its not like the Tigers have some vast array of players that are MLB Caliber. Its not as if they would be taking playing time away from a good player. Injuries happen and Schoop's ability to play multiple positions is going to be needed. At the least let him struggle in April/May then cut him.
  15. Americans' Real Wages Drop For 32nd Straight Month https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/cpi-slows-expected-americans-real-wages-drop-32nd-straight-month
  16. Strange. There is zero reason to keep Okwara and Harris.
  17. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/03/13/ukraine-casualties-pessimism-ammunition-shortage/ Both sides have been seriously degraded.
  18. I don’t think a limited amount of tanks are going to have some magical effect. Kupiansk seems like it might fall to the Russians. Evacuations declared mandatory, signals from Ukraine they might pull back there.
  19. He is a pro-bowl caliber Guard if he can stay healthy hes in for a huge pay day for sure. Going to be hard for Lions to pay all these guys on the O-line.
  20. Dery is god awful. I am still laughing at his, "knows someone in the building" and then getting almost everything wrong. Bob Quinn was not going to get fired, etc etc. Dery also did an entire podcast on a game he didn't even watch.
  21. Okwara. Apparently Lions brass really likes Harris.
  22. He was solid and is a decent depth player on a line that really needs interior DL depth.
