Agree. I also make it a point this time of year to watch the episode where Josh deals with his PTSD from getting shot, also set around Christmas. Noel. God I loved this show.

I noticed about 18 months ago at work that anything in documents or the desktop automatically went to OneDrive. These are company laptops. It took me about 2 days to figure it out. A piece of software I had quit working. It’s because the config path changed. There needs to be two modes. “Let me decide, I know what I am doing” and “ok you do it. I will just click icons”

MAGA is full of fake tough guys and so they think only pussies get vaccines. Take your disease like a real man would.

Vaccines are woke now....

Astros in Alaska? Oil workers from TX I bet. North and South Carolina going for NYY? Considering the big college B-Ball teams in that area I can see the fans being loyal to front runners and bandwagoners and the Yanks have been great for a long time so why not.... I want to know about the Cardinals for Montana.

Those are MAGA folks assuming the position for what they want DJT, or their favorite youth pastor, to do to them. They just can't get enough of it. The herpes is strong with them.

Yes that's correct. I don't remember installing Google Photos, I guess it just is part of their suite now because I had the gmail account. All my photos are there. If I delete a photo from the Google Photos app, it deletes it from my photos library on my iphone and thus my icloud library too. I just went in now and the message, in Google PHotos, when I delete a photo says "This photo will be deleted from icloud photos on all your devices. It will be in recently deleted for 30 days". It's not a business connection but just an extortion racket to get me to pay Google for what I am already paying Apple for. Do a search on it on the interwebs and you'll see lots of people talking about it. Google has cloned the iCloud in terms of photos and you can't get around it. Amazon has a photos app too and it does the same in terms of syncing but I can delete from Amazon Photos without worrying about it being deleted off iCloud.

My mortgage service company are complete hounds.... I have from the 1st to the 17th to pay it each month and I just do it around when a certain pay period hits. I called them last week because I needed a copy of somethiand and instead of helping me they're like "DO YOU WANT TO PAY IT NOW!!!????". Told them I was doing something at the moment so please just help me with what I need right now...." Every time I log on their site they want me to refinance or take cash out, etc. MY RATE IS 2.5% dip****s. Why the **** would I refinance? Before I do pay it each month they call at least twice. I got a message yestrerday from a "debt collector" complete with the disclaimer. That's the words they used. Didn't identify who they were. I searched the phone number, because I pay all my bills and anybody acting as a debt collector is a scammer, and it was my mortage servicer.

I was that “arrogant” person. These folks either have no kids or the kids are grown adults. They were indulging. Nothing wrong with that on its own. Just cut the bull****.

I hate... hate hate... when there's a group email on something and you include someone else to get their input or to answer the question... and they reply just to you with either the answer or another question.

who is doing that?

Reminds me of when systems ask for "occupation" and the list is both non inclusive enough and extremely outdated or detailed. Just last week I came across one that didn't have anything for me or my wife, she's an Occupational Therapist. but it had things like "Cigarette Distributor" "Liquor Store owner" "Casino Owner" "Beauty Salon Owner".

Yeah but others showed up too. Like Billy Pierce. I believe his number is retired by the South Side Chicago Ball Club.

see.... I like that. My instinct is "Crap, I gotta get up soon... oh wait, I don't. I got another hour" But now I get up... it's dark... "Oh I got another hour or so... oh wait, I don't. It's 7:17, my daily stand up is in 13 minutes...."

He seems like a JD Martinez type.... not a lot of time here and success elsewhere but the fans here really took to him and loved him. He and MIckey Tettleton were the only two former players invited to the closing ceremonies at Tiger Stadium that didn't come. I don't know if Rocky had a beef with the org?

I like the time changes. It balances things out. If you leave it the you get bad news either way. In December we'd have 9 am sunrises along with 6 pm sunsets, or in June sunrises before 5 am and a sunset at 8 pm instead of 9. I love it when we get those later summer nights where twilight is still hanging around at 10 pm. In December I dont care what time it gets dark at in the evening. My work day is done at 4 and I'm not going to be outside playing baseball. But I do like it getting lighter earlier in the day. Sunrises after 8 am before the change was rough and we'll get it it again over the next few weeks. There's no easy solution when you go from 9 to 15 hours of daylight every six months.

I do not know if they are renovating them. My son doesn't live there. Commutes every day. We thought that would be a challenge but he loves riding in cars. It's his favorite place to be. I'm used to the 5 am wake up calls. I go up every so often to either pick him up for a Doc appointment or see the staff there for meetings. The Powers building is so beautiful. We typically stop at Redwood on the way back for a dinner date if the time fits. I like that place.

When I worked fast food for a franchise in the early 90's they would write down the previous year's take on the big deks calendar, as a predictor for what we could expect. This was a family run KFC where the grandma got the franchise from the Colonel himself so it had been in that location for decades. Outside of weather issues, it was always within 10% of last year. And it was just a case of "Well Mondays are slow, then it builds up..." There was variation during the week day to day that remained that way from year to year. That was an amazing thing to this 18 year old's eyes. Do you see that in your restaurants today?

Ok.... that's what i thought. When I go to MSD, I get off that very exit but turn left instead of right. But I've seen that painted when I look that way to check for traffic. It's been a few weeks since I've been there. I'll have to show this to my son when he gets home to see if he's noticed it.

many people are saying saw that thing on the news

Where in Flint is that? Do you know?

I'm doing a rewatch of Better Call Saul. I watched it during it's original run but only that time. I've done Breaking Bad probably 3 times total including this past year. I liked it a lot the first time, maybe more than BB, but understood why others maybe didn't like it as much. The second time I'm enjoying it more because I don't have the lingering questions/distractions about what happens to everybody and hunting for easter eggs. The show in some ways reminds me of a great rock band that had some top hits and 2 members decide to go off on their own with some others and do things just for themselves. People will either get it or not but they don't care. BCS relied more on plot devices and camera shots and all of that.... like the production team was having some fun with inside tricks. I wrapped up season 1 plus 2 into season 2 over my 4 day weekend. hope to finish it during the 2 week break.

Imagine thinking that sharing something by Jesse Waters somehow made an intelligent point.
