Marie and Blanca were there because it's the only time a person who's still alive was there to face justice for the deaths of their husbands. It was a nice surprise and felt obvious in the context. Think of the story from a citizens point of view who knows nothing of the people involved. DEA agents go missing, drug lord goes missing, the bodies of the agents are found, then later on a massacre at the drug compound, you find Walter White dead, others are still missing. You end up with their lawyer, one of the missing guys, in a courtroom... you can bet the wives will be there. Was Jimmy ever able to get some diamonds and the business card back into his band aid box? When searching the dumpster for the money and diamonds if the cops see that card in the box would they follow up? If the card is not in the box then they would just probably write it off as garbage.

It wasn't the democratic party. It was the state elections canvassing board. They certify ballot signatures. Craig and the others submitted fraudulent signatures and didn't have enough valid signatures. Therefore their nominations weren't valid. This is another attempt to "both sides" something with zero evidence. Nobody "went after" Craig.

what dems went after Craig?

He can’t plead the fifth. So he isn’t offering up any confirmation or new info but he has to testify and answer right?
-
But he’s not cooperating.
-
He probably believes it now.

Why are republicans so afraid of going under oath? That's the SOP for all of this. When one goes under oath and says A, then the rest of the mob refutes it by saying B on TV... but they'll never go under oath to say B.

I listen to the Better Call Saul Insider podcast and for last week's show they pointed out that the Kim/Jesse scene was shot months in advance of the rest of the show due to Aaron's schedule. Tonight will be epic. I actually had a dream the other night in anticipation. I was watching it but also a participant, as dreams go. I was with Jimmy/Saul/Gene. We were in a delivery truck disguised as something that carries exotic animals. There was a compartment in the trailer we were housed in with the animals in the open area. We were driving at night. We were in Tennessee and I could see out a small porthole that we drove by Dollywood in the Smokey Mountain area. The truck made a stop to pick up one of Jimmy's guys, the kind he always pulls into a scam, and they screwed something up and the trailer opened up and we all were exposed.

right. He could perform an abortion on live TV of a 14 year old girl he impregnated and his cult will slut shame her.

The problem is too many of the voters, while claiming they don't like the crazies, will still vote for them because the D is a "socialist" or something.

When the cubs won in 2016 I was happy for my friends who were big fans. I felt an affinity to them b/c of WGN. 1989 was the last summer I couldn’t drive. I turned 16 that October. I was at that point in my life where I went out later in the day so I spent most days watching them. We had lights at wrigley but not many night games. When they won the division it was fun. I felt a part of it. Being born in 73 I came of age with rhe 84 team. It seemed so easy. You watch the team and they become good and win. Sports is fun. Then the pistons were good. Wings teetered but were still disappointing. But by the time I was 25 I saw all 3 teams I care about win 5 titles.

They will and nobody on the right will change their minds or opinions. Consistency and common sense are not a requirement to court GOP voters. They can use the anger to fundraiser and enrage the voters into voting. Drag it out.

It'll be like the Roe V Wade SC "leaker". Crickets. Trump got his few days of fundraising out of it. By next week RW media won't be talking about this anymore.

Regarding the trades.... it's also possible teams got wise and are reluctant to move prospects for middle of the run players. I'm saying that without knowing much about the deals that did go on at the deadline. Seems to me that our "pieces" are the kinds of players good teams have a lot of and can do on their own without risking a prospect.

"We need to trade Travis Fryman, can't afford to pay that much for a 3rd baseman" next off season "Let's sign Dean Palmer" Randy Smith traded both Travis Fryman and Cecil Fielder for Matt Drews.

When people who are ticket holders today are not renewing for next year… that’s a problem. That’s my point. They are seeing something.
-
Season ticket sales are the life blood of an org. I’m not saying I am special b/c I only have a 28 game package but I know personally of non renewals covering about 100 tickets between personal friends and companies I am involved with. 5 years ago I had 14 regulars around me. That’s down to 4. When I exchange my unused tickets for another game I get my same seats, which means there’s nobody in a Saturday or Sunday package with them. (A lot of seats are split 3 ways). I am not saying it should be the only reason but all you have to do is look at the record and if the financials are dropping then it’s time to move. Now Chris has another selling point.
-
Worth noting that it’s ticket renewal time. I wouldn’t be shocked if some strong feedback was given by current customers. My “executive” happened to call me today to check in and ask when the next game I would be at.

seems a silly qualifier. As noted in the replies Gabe Kapler was in the 57th round but he was drafted as a 3B. It's neat trivia and something you an mention at the game to the person next to you but that's it.
