There's a station not far from me that undersells his gas and people will idle for 15 minutes waiting to save $2 on a $60 tank fillup. I never pay attention to the price. It is what it is. I think it's silly to drive around looking for lower prices. It's the Black Friday syndrome.

So imagine a guy goes into a country store and starts shooting. He kills one guy and puts them gun down Then another guy comes up and smashes him in the head with a bottle of orange juice and then gets shot because guy with gun is “standing his ground” and felt threatened so he decided to shoot him.

I don’t know. I guess the person who survives gets to set the rule. “Stand your ground” is such a slippery standard. It makes little sense. Just an excuse for gun fanatics to play cowboy.

Where’s the self defense opportunity for people seeing a guy with a gun walking around? Didn’t one or two of the victims see him shoot? This is the problem with vigilante justice. How is someone to know he’s there to “keep law and order” and not to just kill people? How are they to know he’s not an active shooter? What’s the difference? There is none.

Yes. All you have to do is get a gun, go pick a fight with an unarmed black guy, get your ass kicked, then shoot him and claim self defense. Self defense is great when it's only given to white people to defend themselves. Black people can't defend themselves. They have to know their place. If a cop showed up to break up the fight they'd instinctively shoot the black guy because he must have started it. That's america. Black people always have to justify their existence, their reason for being where they are. If someone doesn't think you belong, they can call the cops, and the cops will want to see their papers. If the black guy has a record in his past then it's ok to kill them.

They are unvaccinated and had tighter restrictions and better compliance than we did. Their delta waves didnt get a chance to percolate. Once people are out and about and gathering indoors like we saw in the south this summer when it was hot and now in the midwest and NE this winter the delta variant is going to attack the unvaxxed and there will also be breakthrough cases. The German healthguy said by the end of Winter every German will be either vaccinated, recovered, or dead. Anyway.... this is a theory. At some point everyone will be exposed to the virus and they'll not get it because of vaccination/immunity or they will get it. I'm still not clear on whether a vaccinated person who is exposed and it's "blocked" means it will always be blocked..... like did something trigger a response that shows it will always work or is it Russian Roulette?

yeah I think he wrote a book with that title 🙂 I think both sides are given to hyperbole but Trump took it all a step further. It's like busting balls vs actually wanting to fight and kill. Think of Billy Batts and and Tommy in Goodfellas.

Until more people get vaccinated we will be in this perpetual ebb and flow. Restrictions made sense as we were waiting for people to get their chance as it had to be rolled out and prioritized. Last year cases began to go up around this time in Florida , Texas and Georgia. So far they haven’t. That’s a good sign. The NE has to go thru what the south did in the late summer I guess
