We did that in 2016 on my wife's side of the family. One thing that made it difficult was the hills in the area. Even being contained in the resort we had it was still hard for the older folks to get around. Going from one cabin/room to another required stairs and going up or down a hill. We were about halfway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg was a mess. Finding parking was an ordeal and a 2 mile drive back took like 30-40 minutes.

As long as you "look" ok, meaning you're white, have a goatee, and a cap on with a tractor logo, it's all good. If you are a minority and your cap looks a little flashy then things get dicey.

The gun owners I know already do this. one of my best friends has 23 guns. All locked up. He's so fed up with this garbage. People think they can take a 2 hour class at a VFW hall to be 'licensed to carry' and that's all that is needed. I believe Kroger is a union shop. They should build one field hospital in each state. Staff it with the unvaxxed health care workers. All the other hospitals set a number of covid patients they will accept in their hospitals, say 40% of existing beds, after that number is reached anyone who shows up to ar hospital because of covid that is unvaccinated gets sent to this field hospital, wherever it is in the state and they get billed for the transport.

Wife had a 93 year old patient who told the staff, in passing, that those bruises were from her family hitting her.... so yeah they had to deal with that. She had a 22 year old covid patient too..... not intubated but still in the ICU. No health issue history either, in other words, they 'did nothing wrong' to deserve it, as the deniers like to qualify things. The situation in her hospitals is that ICU's are full but they've not reached the point where they are rationing other care or taking up other beds. But they were told no time off for the forseeable future.

I still can't get over Mehmet's insistence on not being called Mehmet. It's not the media's responsibility to go by your trade name or to just say "Dr. Oz". They don't refer to Rand Paul all the time as "Dr. Paul".
