Trump could perform an abortion on a 12 year old girl that he impregnated, put it on PPV and the evangelical right wingers would pay $49.99 to watch it and slut shame the girl.

I'd steer clear of anything on Newsweek. It's not what it used to be. Remember when JD Vance said one valid reason to oppose certification on Jan 6 was things being out in the press that were inaccurate? This is an inside job. Create a fake scandal then when it gets out and debunked, that provides the fuel to question all the votes already cast and create doubt, blah blah blah. This is a plant.

RIP Fernando. Horrible news on its own but throw in the Yankees And Dodgers WS and 1981… this really stinks. He was only 63. That’s shocking to me. I was just a kid for Fernando mania and here he is only 12 years older?

Texas is the one state I fear shenanigans if if looks like she will win it. Abbot will send in the national guard and try to get them to seize ballots on election night. There’s no way he will let it go blue. They will find some judges to let them do what they want.

I knew there would be a good answer. Makes sense. The $2 double cheeseburgers (plain, 2 of them) was my go to after Tiger games at 11:30 pm after dropping my buddy off at his house. Can eat while driving. No mess. Those were the days.

Yeah I think at that point they’ve earned the right to get a chance to catch their breath and possibly set up their rotation. It’s the World Series. We should want quality baseball. I just don’t know what people expect the solution to be when you have the preceding LCS can go from 4 to 7 games. You can’t work around that.

Why would it just affect the quarter pounder if it was due to the onions? Do they get a different kind of onion from other burgers?
-
****. Just realized that demo is me.

But they aren’t to change the schedule if the preceding series ends early. TV spots have been bought based on the days they are airing, plus you have all the logistics that go into planning the games. Don’t blame the league, blame the Yankees and Dodgers for not losing more in their LCS.

Tonight would have been game 7 in the ALCS. I don’t think 3 days off is unreasonable. Let them recover from partying tomorrow. Give them a travel day Wednesday . Then a day to work out in the stadium. They have media sessions too.

My gut tells me you are correct but that’s not based on any data. Just what I see in terms of enthusiasm and all that. But I had those feelings in 2012 thinking Romney would win. I don’t trust myself. At game 4 of the ALDS, I’m not making this up, my friend texted me in the 7th asking if I was there. When I said yes he told me he thought they would do it. I replied “me too” and not a minute later Frye hit a 2 run HR. I don’t like it when I think something is going to turn out. I’m usually wrong.

I can't square that either. What good does it to them to be "wrong" even if that was their intent for whatever reason, either to be overly cautious or b/c they were paid to say something different. Is falling back on the margin of error enough of an incentive to not worry about. If PAC goes to a polling firm with explicit instructions to convey a certain outcome, then why would the poll even bothering conducting it? Just make up the responses and don't bother contacting anybody. If the election were not as close as the pollsters suggest then why would Harris be all over the swing states?

possums and raccons rule. I always get sad when I see a dead one in the road. They do so much good for the environment. So with Ring, is it a subscription? Where is the footage hosted? online?
-
yeah that's it. They see him as "gangsta". Like Kwame. Interesting combo when you consider all the racists who bash their art as 'not real music'.

I think in snoop's case, it's business. He became "lovable". Ice-T doing car warranty commercials. In Eminem's case I chalk it up to sobriety and getting clean. I also think staying home kept him grounded.

we had a manager would get on the floor and check under things. Everything had to be cleaned spotless and put away. Nothing, not even an apron or towel could be just sitting around. The floors would get flour caked on to them and you couldn't mop or scrub. we had to spray them every night. We'd go home soaked. One person sprayed and another squeegeed. It was a seniority thing. It was hard work but was also the most fun I ever had at a job. We were all friends with no responsibilities and would party at work, afer work.... We'd get ahead of the work we had to do and would sit outside with our friends who were not working but "just driving by".... it was like American Graffiti.

speaking of security cameras.... what's everyone's choice on that? We don't have one and I feel like the only people in the world who do not.

I don’t remember if how we voted in ‘20 was absentee. We put it in a drop box. I didn’t get anything sent to me. We do early voting in our city now so that’s what it will be for me. I’m already in that building 4 tomes a week anyway. That way I can save my electikn day off not worrying about voting. I know I should do a civic duty and work the polls since my company gives me a day off and everyone I see there is 90. $100 can’t hurt.
-
That worries me less in terms of turnout but it also makes me question any judgements people are making about early voting results. But I think someone who figures out how to work the logistics of mail jn voting probably already was a regular voter so he’s not pulling in a net increase. You have to go thru some hoops and I don’t see a non election day voter suddenly voting by mail. It’s more convenient and takes care of last minute issues but I don’t think it’s easier if you are already registered.
-
That never bothered me because baseball is my favorite sport and I’m sad when it’s over and don’t like waiting until February. Weather is no worse than in April.
-
How often does the rotation you plan on March 20 last until May!?
-
I saw a tweet last week speculating on the “silent Harris” voter. Didn’t offer anything besides one example but I can see it. People just fed up with the nonsense.

When I read poll discussions among the experts it reminds me of theological debates among preachers and other kinds of clergy and researchers. They’re going on about something translated from a stone 3,000 years ago. Some have an agenda to pursue or a bias they are working from and others do not. But everyone is making some kind of subjective calculation.
