  1. Hinch has to pull a Maton and send Ibanez down
  2. When did Anderson go down? Didn't see it... sounds like some homer embellishments, of the worst kind. { Edit: actually, I saw it from a different angle on youtube and Ramirez did connect but was just a glancing blow and really didn't hurt Anderson much but he lost his footing }
  3. Tork is about 10 feet total from 5 hr's in that spell. has a severe uppercut swing that generates too much topspin. ball dies at he warning track. can't someone teach him to try to generate backspin where the ball carries..
  4. Two opposite HR's by the Tigers. What's funny is on a Marlin's message board, they were claiming the Tigers{not Miami} were benefited from some juiced balls, courtesy from the League to maybe help Miggy hit a home run. they say the two hr's were helped and the Marlin's balls died at the warning track. Damn. they may be right..
  5. Right. It's past my bedtime. It would be nice to see his what brother can do.
  6. He was a 25+ hr guy before becoming a member of the Tigers. what happened to Parker's power is a mystery. Another curse perhaps
  7. Hinch is always looking out for the well being of the players. Miggy was probably getting tired. it's getting past 10
  8. ,,,also look at the size of the opposing teams compared to ours. I'm not talking about Miggy. Tork is the only big guy. these other teams look imposing as hell compared to us.
  9. difference is the Tiger's need 3 hits to score one run while other teams need just a couple of knocks to score a bunch.
  10. Safe to say the middle of the Padres line-up is so much better. almost Hinch conceding a loss.
  11. Tomorrow is a bullpen day so that probably why. at this point game over anyway
  12. I thought a 30 day leg strain dl was apt.
  13. I was inferring if he was behind the plate instead of left field, they wouldn't have given up 11 runs.
  14. Hasse doesn't give up 11 runs
  15. Have to blame the offense for this one. too many blown chances.
  16. Can't deny Hasse has been the better receiver handling pitchers. Rodgers isn't bad but Hitch want's Hasse out there more.
  17. C'mon Tigers. let's get some garbage runs so C-Mo can talk about something positive about the game.
  18. well, I know Jim Northrup did it in 68' but figured it had to be done since.
  19. Pitchers wouldn't like it but the Tigers wouldn't be bottom feeders in offense.
  20. 2 Slams ...one game.. last time ...??
  21. The guy has more college hr's than anyone cept Bob Horner. Just a matter of time before he catches up with Major League pitching.
  22. Baez with another tee ball swing.
  23. sad that they get rid of one money pit and have another take its place.
  24. Tiger's have to bring their big boy bats and not come into this place with your Punch and Judy ones. you'll get trampled like dead dried leaves.
