I hate how the first answer people almost always come up with to fix a defense is "blitz more". If blitzing was the answer, everyone would be doing it all the time. The Lions already have a trash secondary, what do you think is going to happen when there are a couple less bodies hanging back to stop players running free?

Does nobody on the field not have control of things once the fake punt is called for? Seems like whomever is responsible for calling for the ball to be snapped should have the option of checking out of the play if it's obvious the defense has it sniffed out. If not, there's always the option of Campbell calling a TO to avoid disaster.

I'd call it more of a few neat Easter eggs for people who are paying close attention. Season 1 does tie to the movie though and the plot directly crosses over with the film.

Hopefully you're able to skip commercials because, holy hell, there were a lot of them. I agree that season 3 wasn't up to the standards of the first two, but I liked it more than you did. For a reason I can't remember, I never started watching season 4 when it first aired and have since heard so many bad things about it that I've never bothered. Maybe I'll check it out one day but there are so many shows out there these days, who knows.
