I would hate to see them implement the Manfred Man for the post season. It would be like the NHL adopting the same rules for playoff OT as the regular season. I'm fine with regular season games not being allowed to go on for additional hours, keep the playoffs pure.

Avoiding any type of post season ban, especially this season would be nice but it's certainly not going to clean the stink off the program. Also, there is little doubt in my mind that the NCAA would vacate the previous two seasons, wiping out two Big 10 titles and wins against Ohio State.

Would it be any different with Michigan fans if it were the Buckeyes facing these accusations? College sports fans are gonna do what they do.

I'm not sure what you want me to take from this comment. Are you saying people are making something out of nothing? Is it not a big deal that a sideline staffer of the team was buying tickets for games featuring future opponents and shooting video of the sidelines?

The simple fact here is that Michigan is the team being investigated so the talking point that "everyone else does it" really isn't valid. If everyone one else was doing what Michigan is accused of doing, those teams would also be under investigation. Really amazing to see people living in such denial of the hammer that is surely going to be dropped on the program when this investigation concludes.
