I'm not in favor of term limits but would be totally on board with mandatory retirement ages. 72 sounds about right to me, we don't need 80 and 90 year old people running the country.
Funny how the same people who wanted General Miley charged with treason when it was revealed he had a couple routine phone calls with his Chinese counterpart are acting like Trump blabbing national defense secrets is no biggie.
PitchCom is between the pitcher and catcher with the fielders also having a receiver to listen to the pitch being called. Nobody off the field or in the dugout can send signals through it. What would have happened here is the catcher pushed some sequence of buttons to alert the pitcher to go with a pick off. For example, they might have had a code between then that said if I push the fastball button 3 times, throw to second.
That's the problem with politics, especially in the modern age. People think there are only 2 sides to every issue and if the other side is for something, you are required to be against it. You only get two buckets, for and against.
Most issues are not black and white and building border walls certainly fits that definition. There are border towns where you can literally walk across the street and be in another country, of course you need a wall or fence along those stretches. You also need physical barriers near population centers and border crossings to keep people from flooding across unchecked. Being in favor of strategically placed barriers doesn't mean you support a wall through thousands of miles of barren desert.
It doesn't. I just don't see people in Florida ever caring about baseball which is kind of funny considering how many older people live there.
As bad as it is for the Rays, it's worse for Marlins. They have twice the metro area population to pull from and draw less people.
The only reason that new "ballpark" is being built is for all the events it can host that don't involve hitting a ball with a piece of wood. It's only going to seat 30,000 for baseball but can expand to 35,000 for concerts and such.
Got my flu vaccine a week ago and felt bad for a couple days. Had my COVID booster yesterday and didn't really feel anything except a slightly sore arm.
