  1. What was the point of this response?
  2. Yes, MSNBC has gone too far left. They spend the majority of their time now pushing racial and LGTBQ issues. It's one thing to cover stories honestly and from both sides, but when you're ignoring one side of things to push an agenda, I consider that "far left" or "far right" For an example, look at the latest string of mobs of people rushing into stores and stealing everything in site. Almost all of those committing the crimes are blacks. Turn on Fox and you'll see them practically playing the footage on a loop. Turn on MSNBC and you won't see any coverage of it. Then flip the page and find a story about a black person being shot. Fox will give in the least amount of coverage possible while MSNBC runs it non-stop. Fox and MSNBC are both sides of the same coin.
  3. Biden is speaking now about the Medicare drug price negotiations and exactly 1 network is airing it. Edit: and just as I post, they pulled away from it.
  4. But it's a little pill with a big story to tell! 🥳
  5. Whatever happened to the Republican bill to repeal the drug price negotiation provisions contained in the Inflation Reduction Act? Guess they finally realized that would be political suicide. Could also be that they're just sitting back and waiting for all the lawsuits by the drug companies to play out.
  6. On the subject of media bias, if anyone is looking for a news source that tries to play in the middle instead of shilling for the far right (Fox) or the far left (MSNBC), I've found News Nation to be a pretty balanced network. Whenever I've watched, they seem to focus on just reporting news without pushing any narratives. Didn't even realize I had them on my cable package until a few weeks ago.
  7. Waking up this morning, I'm still salty that the Tigers were cheated out of a no-hitter last night. Watching the Altuve hit a bunch of times now, he's out by 10 feet if Short doesn't whiff on the ball.
  8. According to Fox, they had his permission to use the video so what the hell did he think they were going to do, play it for the halftime entertainment?
  9. So here's the thing, should that Altuve hit really have been scored an error? Looking at it again, looks like he's out by a couple steps if Short fields the ball.
  10. That bottom of the ninth felt like a playoff game. 1-0 since the whales were set free.
  11. Ahhhh it's about the pitch clock. Ump is missing obvious violations.
  12. Baez complaining about an obvious strike.
  13. I haven't been paying attention apparently, had no idea we were being no hit. Did you hear that? The Tigers are currently being NO HIT!!! NO HITTER!!!!
  14. A missed scoop would typically go down as an error on the person who threw it.
  15. There is a stat that keeps track of "Scoops" made by the first baseman and Tork has the most. I guess it could mean that since he apparently deals with the most bad throws it makes sense that he would have so many misses. All I know is that he's second from last in fielding percentage for first basemen. https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/major-league?lg=all&qual=y&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&season1=2023&season=2023&stats=fld&pos=1b&type=0&sortcol=20&sortdir=desc&pagenum=1
  16. A MLB first baseman should be able to dig a ball out of the dirt. I've lost count of how many times Tork has muffed a less than perfect throw this season.
  17. Tork needs to be the full time DH next year.
  18. Miggy getting robbed and then Rogers being a bonehead. And before anyone says it, I know players are taught to go on contact but you need to have a little bit of common sense. You shouldn't be running home when the ball is hit sharply right to where you know the third baseman is standing.
  19. I love how Twitter is posting pictures of everyone they can find who is actually 6'2 or 6'3 and 215lbs.
  20. 🤣 215lbs 🤣
  21. Funny thing about Trump's weight, it will be published along with his height as part of the booking information. I'm hoping they actually have him step on the scale but I'm guessing they'll just ask him.
