  1. Musk of all people shouldn't be talking about what is breaking the law.
  2. Judge blocks the resignation deadline. White House says tough ****, we are still processing them. Expect a lot of judge defying.
  3. This is the crux, and why what they are doing is illegal. But it's an official act, so no consequences.
  4. I mean, we can hope one of the three deep red vacant house seats flips in the special. That would be a step.
  5. Me too, but doubt it does much
  6. The schedule f injunction needs to come down yesterday.
  7. any suggestions?
  8. Not the only one in her family to make weird faces standing next to a talkative tub of lard. Granted the other pair was more likeable.

  10. DOJ's 99 whatever percent winning percentage is going to take a hit the next few years.
  11. Only if it's a state law, right?
  12. Hasn't stopped UCF grads from gaslighting on this issue...
  13. My cousin, proud Elon University alumnus, and I, proud Purdue University alumnus, have been debating/discussing which of our alma maters has the more insidious eponymous bad actor. Discuss. (Unless that distracts from the important focus of this thread)
  14. We aren't thin at catcher.
  15. And this is kinda shown in the probability plots for the Tigers. There is a wide range for them. The thing fans ignore is the fact that the wide range includes negative too.
  16. There's some weirdness in Flaherty's AAV that could lead to quite the discount next year due to the "Valley Charge." Might come in handy if the Tigers might be pushing close to the CBT next year, which they might with a Bregman signing or a signing or two next year. Greene hits arbitration. Skubal hits Arb 5. Long story short, Flaherty's AAV this year will actually be 27.5M, with next year being his salary minus 7.5, meaning if he declines, the Tigers get a 7.5M discount on their AAV calculation. (I'm awaiting confirmation on what happens if his contract incentives push his option year up to 80%, thus wiping out the valley tax) This contract could be signaling that they are planning to be considering the tax next year.
  17. For Flaherty? Either Englert/Kreidler, or they draw out the physical until camp breaks next week and use an SGL/Baez/Lange 60-Day move to clear space.
  18. You still can file your taxes for free. Free File Fillable Forms is still available.
  19. Gov employees only, so this is till a 3+B dollar ****up.
  20. I got a doozy in my box this morning: a signed memo from Hegseth ****ting on trans people. I forwarded to my HR office. Contacting a lawyer later, and between the onslaught of harassment emails from OPM, the privacy across violation with Elon and the treasury, I think it might be fun to go on the offensive here.
  21. He didn't "break rules," and a lot of teams did that in that era.
  22. What do you mean by that? The CBA has restrictions on what types of incentive clauses can be in a contract.
  23. They had cash to burn last year. Keith's deal had a signing bonus payable last year, I believe. It made sense to do some frontloading, because the young core is only going to get more expensive.
  24. Thought I had while doing some landscaping earlier... With all this data deleting going on, I could very well see the BLS suppressing the inevitable inflation data coming in the next few years.
