  1. Is it late enough that Daniella Upskirt Hour isn't an FCC violation?
  2. Not anymore. Would be suspended to tomorrow and picked up where it left off. This changed a while back.
  3. That's some Florida Weather.
  4. Max Anderson to Toledo per transaction logs...
  5. Active roster plus IL spots as of August 31 are eligible. Anybody in the organization can be a replacement for a player from that pool who is injured.
  6. Well of the two spots, one has to be a position player. You are capped at 14 pitchers after the rosters expand. At the time of that podcast, I would have said Sweeney. Now, I would say the spot is Vierling's or Meadows's if they are healthy come September 1. If not, Malloy would seem to be higher on the totem pole.
  7. July 26. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=kahnlto01&t=p&year=2025
  8. I think if nothing else that gives them the false sense of security. Every time they chance lightning, they think it won't get them next time.
  9. The most likely scenario is he is optioned back when his rehab assignment times out (August 19). That would require a 40-man move, but that was done yesterday when Jackson was DFA'ed.
  10. I came across an Artie Kendall video (The ghost crooner from Conan who used to be in the studios in the 30's and sings offensive songs of his time.) It was amazing how, 20 years later, they are less funny, because things like this are just flat out spouted by the GOP these days.

    MAP PR0N!

Your title says median, the graph says average. Which is it?
  12. On a personal level, one thing I could see happening if he truly does develop it (and is actually transparent about it, which given the last 9 years of Oval Ovice Opacity with regards to health isn't a guarantee) is that the GOP lines up and reverses the cuts to ALZ and dementia funding that have stopped some great research in its tracks. If it can help dear leader, maybe they would do that... Or... they can do what they did after he was shot and just stump for more guns.
  13. And I'm not calling you out here, but the people flippantly calling accusing this and the previous president of dementia as if it is an insult are painting way too big a brush and insulting a lot more people than the president of the other party.
  14. I hope they all get to be caregiver and get to live that experience. They have enough money that they don't, but a man can dream. They deserve that suffering.
  15. She looks more and more hideous every time that synthetic face shows up on my screen.
  16. In what baseball sense does it make sense for a team having a snakebitten injury year with most of their core under contract to add money at the deadline?
  17. HR allowed tends to be pretty noisy.
  18. If they blow the division and miss the playoffs, probably would have done that if they gave up prospects for a higher priced reliever anyways.
  19. Today in Lightning... A storm is rolling through town but doesn't make it to the beach. The commish of the volleyball league cancels games because lightning is in range and he doesn't want his helpers to have to set up the courts in that. The group text is ripping him to shreds because it isn't raining there.
  20. Gonna go on a limb and suggest this doesn't change the next 3.5 years or so, or the decades it takes cleaning up this mess.
  21. I had a former colleague who got a huge dataset and ran some quick code on it, promised our bosses it was a panacea and it was on me to validate it. I spent months trying to clean all the data his automated code missed and eventually rejected the database because the data was incorrect in far too many places.
  22. Now now, Riley Greene was the Tigers nominee last year, and Niko Goodrum in 2019. But yeah, a lot of Eric Haase, Matt Vierling, and Robbie Grossman in between.
  23. The lightning safety advocates I have started following on the socials have started going after MLB for not being strict enough. Notably leaving the umpires in charge of making the lightning call. The balk call in Jacksonville last month being one such incident...
  24. Oh... I didn't mention I was struck when I was 15, laying inside by a window when it struck the tree right outside and got into our house's electric system via electric dog fence. Not a direct strike, but enough to make me numb and slur speech for 30 minutes or so.
