Per the logs, Hadeen, Dobbins, and Pennington are up to West Michigan. Nothing on the corresponding moves in Toledo for Cruz and Valencia. Erie sent Hebbert down to Lakeland, so they are squared up.

I'd be a bit surprised if Anderson wasn't also on the train. Funny enough, one thing that may hold him up is he was featured in the John Oliver video as one of the guys he trolled, so I wonder if he is hanging around through the Moon Mammoths game for that?

I found one player who has played for the opponent in multiple Comerica games I went to: Seth Smith.

Hah, I have only been to five games at Comerica and now I am curious how many repeat opposing players I have.

I was thinking that. Looks like Montero gets the next time through the rotation, though because the days don't line up. I could definitely see Melton being on the short list, but it doesn't seem like SGL is going to be out long.

I will also add Jacksonville to the Rays possibility. The current city government has a bipartisan willingness to throw money at the Jaguars, and the new owners are Jax based. Probably a long shot...

Yeah those situations aren't settled. And every time this discussion comes up, the answer is "which city/state will pony up the most subsidies?" It sounds like Nashville and Salt Lake are among the tops who have expressed interest, but I wonder if the Titans getting a new stadium tapped the city dry.

I should explain a bit more about the Domestic Reserve List. It is the limit of minor leaguers you can have rostered: 165 in the regular season. This started up a few years ago and was actually reduced from 180 to 165 last year, so last year is when things started getting pretty tight. I've got the tigers around 162 right now (but haven't given it a scrub in a while). Players in the majors don't count; players in the minors on the 40 man do count. Players on the minor league 60-Day IL and full season IL do not count, nor do suspended or restricted list players. You can only have 15 players on the minor league 60-Day IL at one time, and the Full Season IL is only for certain surgeries and prohibits a player from certain activities if they are placed on it. Last year, a bulk of the cuts around the draft were low level players or mid level third catchers. There's lots of players many on here haven't heard of who are just taking up spots on rosters who would be released well before the Kreidlers and Workmans of the world are. Also, injuries have a way of making roster crunches work out. There's ways to juggle playing time beyond that.
