  1. Shades of Jarrod Washburn's disastrous Tigers stretch here with Paddack.

The number will go up a bit as long as Paddack gets 2 2/3 IP tonight and hits his 140IP incentive.
  3. The CDC/vaccine stuff makes me beyond angry at anybody who supports this ****. Like I'm probably going to avoid people so I don't do something rash this weekend angry.
  4. Actually, that's a lie. I have checked. I kinda want you to before holding him up as a mistake on the Tigers part for not overpaying.
  5. How's Helsey doing with the Mets? I haven't checked.
  6. They are winning and making money. I guess they haven't met the third goal of making an anonymous irrational fan happy, so they have failed.
  7. Lol, "inability to acquire quality players." Were I a coffee drinker, I would have spat it out reading that.
  8. All the more reason to not have half the country bully them then, isn't it?
  9. Could be worse for those kids. At least they weren't exposed to any trans people.
  10. Rosters only expand by two guys now, only one pitcher. It gets talked about like it's still 40.
  11. Who cares if I mind!?!?! Just saying making the playoffs and the bye are more important than winning the division in the current format.
  12. I've got the following magic numbers. Home field: 30 Bye: 25 Division: 19 Playoff spot: 19 I would contend division is the third most important of those.
  13. There is no guarantee of PPL picks in 2027 with thr current CBA expiring.
  14. Saw some quotes from Hinch that he doesn't expect him to clear waivers.
  15. 5 starts... Shoved in 1 (G1 NLCS) , pretty good in another (G1 WS), mediocre in 1 (G2 NLDS) rocked in 2 (G5 NLCS, G5 WS). I'm formulating a theory now that he probably shouldn't see a team twice in a series.
  16. Time to put the kibosh on actors in the booth...
  17. Not the best time to be knocking stuff out around the house and want to keep up with the game.
  18. The best reliever picked up at the deadline might be Dietrich Enns...
  19. When do we check up on the bullpens of teams that bought relievers at the deadline?
  20. First earned runs the pen has given up in a while...
  21. If Shane Halter was Falter Halter, what does that make Bailey?
  22. How dare you besmirch one of my favorite Boilermakers?
  23. They did a couple Pac 12 games. Most of their work was early session Maui Invitational work (including the years the Maui invitation wasn't in Maui)
  24. I think so? Not the last few years since Benetti moved to Fox (and Walton passed away last year). Walton's primary partner at ESPN was Dave Pasch. I can go into the archives to see how often they worked together... I do know Walton guested for a couple games with the White Sox when Steve Stone was out. Edit: I found about 10 games in The506 Archives where they worked together from the 2018 Maui Invitational to when Benetti moved to Fox in 2022.
  25. I wasn't really saying that. I was just pointing out he's really good at basketball. He often gets paired with Bill Raftery or Robbie Hummel, so he gets somebody good and entertaining to do games with.
