The Tigers very likely clinch before this happens, but they could have a magic number of 3 with Cleveland before the third game of the series and clinch with a win. They would have had to win the first two games of the series and not have clinched already. This is because a sweep in the series next week clinches the tiebreaker.

Depends how many of the women who came forward are on the baseball side. I do know the woman who was in the analytics department, who had gotten some pub several years back, left the team sometime in 2023-24. Giblin getting bumped up to VP after being Menzin's subordinate is interesting to me as well. I don't agree that this is a New York hit job. To my original point, if there are rumblings about a woman being thrown down the stairs by a team employee, the local media needs to get on that and chase it down. There is clearly still a problem. They are retaliating against Stavenhagen, for example. Gustafson seems like a bad egg.
