  1. Additionally, anybody who has heard him talk should know he's the right guy for the job. He has it.
  2. Welp, kinda. I thought they were 100% robo zone, but found an article from March on BA. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/milb-rules-changes-for-2024-will-tweak-strike-zone-in-triple-a/ I was wrong. I thought they were 100% automatic, but they had the challenge system, and a bigger strike zone.
  3. Use the righty against the right-handed core of the lineup. Let Holton face the bottom of the order and take the LHB pinch hitters out of Schneider's holster. Right call. I'm glad it worked.
  4. Already did that, but man they wanted so much of my information I was afraid of a FOIA and a couple bullets through my door.
  5. Long story short, somebody I know posted a picture on facebook posing with an assult rifle saying "Freedom loving patriots with ARs. Joe Bidens worst nightmare if he can even remember them" I want to keep as much anonymity as possible because, well, the person knows where I live and is unhinged enough to post a picture on social media with an assult rifle.
  6. @romad1 you have secret service/FBI ties, right? I tried to DM you, but I was curious if you had any tips for reporting threats on the President.
  7. Why did Jaden Hamm leave after an inning last night?
  8. What is the break-even rate for that decision? With two outs, it can't be that high. How strong is Kiermaier's arms these days? He has negative arm ratings on Fangraphs, but I don't know how to parse that. I don't mind the call, but then again I'm not... https://youtu.be/gdbjw27QPJQ?feature=shared
  9. All the Scheffler stuff in Louisville dragging on just makes it seem like grandstanding Mayor and DA trying to get camera time...
  10. How much of 2022 inflation was just pent up and delayed by COVID... That is to say, if the world didn't grind to a halt in 2020, would there have been extreme inflation from the Trump policies that year? Food for thought...
  11. Pulling the plug on tiktok and Joe Rogan might..
  12. I got the mildest of mild cases this week. Started noticing a sore throat Sunday night. Felt my body fighting something after lunch Monday, took an expired test Monday and showed a faint line, picked up some new Antigen tests (curbside, I'm not a heathen) to confirm. Took yesterday off, but felt better around lunch. Today, aside from a lingering runny nose, I'm off to the races. I am pretty sure, per the CDC, I am good to go out into public by now (with a mask on), but I'm going to wait until tomorrow, and am likely going to lay low this weekend and mask up wherever I go through at least Sunday or so.
  13. My only issue with the Brady C talk from Henning is the injury report put out a month ago by the team said he was out with "Right UCL Reconstruction." Also, he was put on the full season IL around Opening Day, so it's been known since then he's out for the year.
  14. Eddys Leonard on rehab assignment to Lakeland. Dunford's move is likely procedural, but I'm trying to figure out why. I've got their Domestic Reserve List at 164, maybe they anticipate Adcock clearing waivers today which would put them at 165.
  15. I've been fortunate to meet some old college buddies of his, including one who was involved with a love triangle. One of them stole the other's girl.
  16. It's a tourist trap without much. Honestly, the lobby at the Armstrong Building at Purdue has more Armstrong artifacts. That museum lost me when they did the OHIO post last year.
  17. I grew up in that stretch, and an old wive's tail that was told was that stretch of 75 had the most sleeping related accidents in the country. No idea if it is true. Findlay always seems to be under perpetual construction, and the little stretch between Sidney and Piqua can get dicey, but is better now that they redid that bridge.
  18. This kinda came up in some of my bracketology dabbling this year. Tennessee was high enough up in the seeding to get geographic preference. They were assigned to Charlotte, but Indianapolis was also closer to Memphis.
  19. Garbage AI content is everywhere. Best to sniff it out and not click on it. AI is going to go the way of NFT's. Only as good as the data supporting it, and that data is getting dirtier and dirtier.
  20. To a department that may actually hold people like him accountable?
  21. He tripped and fell. Literally a power trip. https://golf.com/news/eyewitness-reveals-new-scottie-scheffler-arrest-details/?amp=1
  22. If anybody is entitled here, it's the person from an orginzation with a long history of even more entitlement than professional golfers. https://www.nytimes.com/search?dropmab=false&query=louisville police&sort=best
