Has anybody tested the boundaries of the IRS wash rules? With a dip, I've been wanting to move money in my taxable Fidelity account from FCPGX to FZROX, and a few more days of this may be able to sell at a loss. Trying to make sure that despite them both being Fidelity Index funds, they track different indices and are thus not "substantially identical."

Having just drafted my first five bullets email, the toughest part was trying to distill a week's worth of stuff into five bullet points. If nothing else, doing this every Monday will help me realize "Yeah, I kicked ass last week." Anyways, trying to channel the anger and frustration in a productive way...

So we are talking a one stroke difference and he lost by 4. He was going for the hero shot to try to avoid disaster, which dropping in the fairway laying 3 (you are laying 3 when hitting your fourth shot) in a shot you just hit in the water could be a recipe for more disaster.

There's an FBI office a couple miles from my house. I've never really thought of it as anything more than pretty cool that I'm among FBI agents in the general public, tbh. As an aside, Gaetz's old district has a loooooooot of federal workers, and trust me when I say DOD has not been shielded from this bs as people thought.

You are underestimating the amount of people who completely tune politics out and vote for the party they've always voted for. The amount of people I've run into the last month who know I'm a federal employee but have no idea what's going on at work these days has opened my eye to this. I'm not talking about courting the racist uncle who wears the MAGA hat to his wife's funeral.
