    Yep. As an FYI, you can only have 15 players in the system on the 60-Day IL. Flores is the 15th right now. I have them with 152 of 165 spots on the domestic reserve list filled, not including draft picks. Andrew Jenkins is due back from the 60 soon too, so roster spots are going to be tight.

    I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't more moves across the system today. Some draft picks assigned to FCL or Lakeland. Maybe Franyerber up to Lakeland, Lee to Toledo, Hamm to Erie, Jobe to Toledo... just spitballing, but the draft pick signings and all start break seems like a good time to shake things up.

    My cynical guess is somebody else fell through so they threw more money at Campos to use up the bonus money and Avila wasn't creative enough to trade excess pool space away. Just a theory...

    Re: Senators... Different states have different appointment/special election rules. I don't know them off hand, but that doesn't automatically dismiss Kelly.

    I hope Biden resigns, just so the Trump campaign has to burn a lot of funds on 48 merch after throwing out the 47 merch. That's the only reason.

    I can't believe it, even if this is the right call. I do believe Biden has done a tremendous job the past 3.5 years.

    Big part of it is likely that they have used four of Baddoo's five optional assignments. Given the temporary nature of this move (Meadows is probably back in the next week or so I'm guessing), you don't want to burn one for Baddoo. Also, it's been less than 10 days so you wouldn't be able to except for the fact that it is technically a corresponding move for Olson's IL placement.

    Worth pointing out that players on the IL in the minors cannot be DFA/Outrighted.

    Check out Friday's Effectively Wild. Eric Longenhagen, who thinks long and hard about the draft more than anybody on this board combined (including Micro), expressed doubt about how pick trading would be abused by teams. You aren't wrong, but I also wonder if MLB wouldn't make it so that pick trades can only be done pre-draft, which is how the limited trading works now.

    Here's what I don't get... Vance claims to be from Appalachia. I grew up 40 minutes from where he did... maybe 50 minutes. Either way, the area between Dayton and Cincinnati is not Appalachia. That's midwestern suburbia.
