  1. I agree. Carpenter should be off the table as an option. Either sign Bregman or use Jung and Vierling at 3rd base.

  3. This is all I could find; Mueller isn't the most reliable. Quite a few on Twitter have to be fact checked. https://www.cnn.com/2025/01/31/politics/fbi-agents-who-investigated-january-6-fired/index.html
  4. Could SCOTUS possibly save up? Somebody has to hold him in check. And I still say there's no way the elections were legit. All the MAGA wins are suspect. Trump is the king of projection and all he talked about for the last 4 years was rigged elections. Projecting his plans...
  5. I wonder if this is true? If so, wow;
  6. He plays with rekeless abandon.
  7. Duren waiting for that ball to come off the rim so he could slam it home. Like an assassin. 😆
  8. Cade still turns the ball over a bit too often but he makes perfect Ally-oop passes.
  9. Trump...learn? 🤣🤣 First off...he doesn't care. He's been told over and over that tarriffs would be paid by the consumer. He denies it and continues to lie. He just doesn't care. He thinks he's going to use tarriffs as leverage in negotiations. But he's a total idiot and if it costs the average American family $5000 or more a year? Well, you should just get a 2nd or 3rd job. You wanna be a patriot, right?
  10. Will they be given a script of lies to spread? You can bet they will.
  11. Trump's inept response to covid caused a pandemic. His tarriffs are going to cause a worldwide recession. Everything this guy touches turns to sheet.
  12. I read that Sheila Hamp was trying to bring one back to Detroit along with Gores. A whole group of them; https://atozsports.com/nfl/detroit-lions-news/lions-owner-sheila-ford-hamp-and-quarterback-jared-goff-are-part-of-an-all-star-investor-group-attempting-to-bring-the-wnba-back-to-detroit/
  13. They already had him. He's not going anywhere.
  14. I tuned in late. Who are these guys doing the game?
  15. I was thinking about this. Harris needs to let Chris know how much it would cost to extend him and what kind of a return he could get for him. We may be able to get an entire left side of the infield for him with a pitching prospect thrown in. His value will never be higher. I would hate losing Skubal though.
  16. The Tigers will have to win a lot of low scoring games. Get busy Fetter!!
  17. They sure were and they are courtside. Being insulted or threatened by a punk would account for George insulting a player from another team. It was pretty shocking.
  18. He's rebuilt this team and our minor leagues really quickly. But many fans (me) don't have much patience. For God's sake Scott, do SOMETHING! 😅😅
  19. Bregman is about as close as any. A veteran to help the kids. A proven winner. A position of need. And a history with our manager. Really, it's a no-brainer. And so many fans act like it's their money being spent. Fun fact...if we don't sign him? Tickets won't cost less. And if he doesn't work out? It's not like we would spend the money on other players, it would just be saved for additional bottom line profits. Has Harris signed any position players, long term? He's made limited trades. I think the longest contract he's given out is 2 years, to Maeda. And like I've said, I'm not sure if he has a payroll limit or what. Making the playoffs last year after dumping all our veterans was fun but I really doubt it can be repeated. I hope so but...we'll see.
  20. But at least with Flaherty we would only be complaining about his ineffectivness every 5 days, if he's healthy. With Bregman, it would be every at bat. 😆 But...I never complain about players sucking or the fact that a pitcher makes a million $$ per start...lol
  21. So, never sign any player because they may struggle? Pitchers seem like they would be the bigger injury risk. But Bergman would be out there every day. Kinda like an even more expensive Javy. I can see Harris just rolling the dice with players that got us to the playoffs last season. I don't like it but I can see it.
  22. Well, the bottom line is, this is an unimaginable tragedy. I can't even imagine the horror those people on the plane felt. It's a thing of nightmares.
  23. Lol...that reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when I was complaining about the Lions loss to my son...he said "I'm sorry that happened to you." That stopped me in mid-sentence. 😆😆
