  1. And Dingler is slumping so hit him in front of our hottest hitter the ladt 2 games? Make it make sense.
  2. Uhhh...I would say we lost that game because our BP couldn't hold a late lead. Riley did take strike 3 but it should never have gotten to the bottom of the 9th. And in extras, Hinch already used his top 3 relievers in a failed bid to hold a lead so he had to bring in an ineffective Holton. Ballgame
  3. Basrrunning and bullpen let us down tonight. And our inability to hit with RISP.
  4. Holton in to face a RH hitter? Predictable outcome
  5. One woulda been nice tonight. See Cleveland bunt,? It helped tie the game. And...keep watching.
  6. Oh well. McKinstry to 3rd base and Perez to RF?
  7. On deck? Short. For SOME reason, Hinch put that idiot in the game.
  8. If we dont walk it off, i agree. Cleveland can play small ball, Detroit can't. Whether you agree with bunting or not, sometimes it matters.
  9. Anderson pitched well enough to win. But our offense? Offensive.
  10. Nice chance for Drew to show Hinch that he belongs in the starting rotation. If not, the bus for Toledo leaves at 10:30.
  11. Dingler in a slump? Take it out on Bibee's head!
  12. I think it mean To Be Discussed @MoTownSports. 😆
  13. Something I never saw before. Seattle manager came out to talk to his pitcher and went back to the dugout. Before the next pitch, he tried to come back out and make a pitching change. The umpire made him go back to the dugout and didnt allow him to change pitchers. Announcer said "how's that for a vote of confidence?" Lmao
  14. Its not just missing Skubal. Also, Carpenter, Javy, Torres and Meadows. Thats 4cstarters some games. And much if the platooning Hinch needs.
  15. OK...we have TBD as our SP. Jake? 😆
  16. I dont know. He's red hot right now but home runs aren't coming. Did he change that huge, long uppercut swing? Is that what sent the ball flying 450 feet? Cutting down on the strikeouts is huge. And yes, if the other guys were producing (or healthy), he would have better numbers. And to be honest, I really like the new and improved Riley. Home runs or not...
  17. Good read. A bit negative but finding positives right now is kinda hard.
  18. Is the batting average and cutting down on strikeouts by Greene acceptable if it takes away some of his HR total? The guy is red hot and I hope it continues but what about the tradeoff? Less power for less strikeouts? (NOT complaining)
  19. Harris doesnt trade. At least, he hasn't made any significant trades. He traded Flaherty a couple years ago. And acquired Vierling and McKinstry a couple of years ago. But making bigger trades? Hasn't happened yet.
