I think he's a very good defensive coordinator and he may have learned and matured. I wouldn't want him as a head coach but maybe as a defensive coach. But definitely not under MCDC, I don't think they could co-exist.

Yeah, it's all good, people have different opinions. But the fact is no other coach has won as many Super Bowls as he did. Or been in as many. That's an indication that he may very well be the best coach ever. He also was an assistant on 2 other teams that won Super Bowls. His NFL career was remarkable and I doubt we'll see that success by a coach again in a very long time, if ever. People have been discussing whether the QB made the coach or if the coach made the QB for many years. I say they were a team that made each other better. Brady may have had success with a different New England coach and Belichick may have had some success with a different QB. But together, they were record breakers.

If Brady wouldn't have been there, he woulda kept looking for a QB that would have fit his offense. Brady was the one he settled on once he saw his upside. Brady fit his offense perfectly but I'm fairly certain he would have kept looking until he found a good QB that also fit. Either way, both of those guys deserved to get in on the 1st ballot. A couple of things I heard about Belichick was voters all thought he was in for sure so they voted for somebody else. Or they thought he may come back to the NFL so they decided to wait. Or.. the cheating scandals..

This is a tough road trip. These next 2 games are against teams with very good home records, better than the Denver team we just beat. Splitting these next 2 games would be very good, make it a 2-1 trip.

The most successful coach and the most successful QB of an entire generation. Put Brady on the Lions with their management at the time and he has zero championships. Could Belichick have won with a different QB? I say yes, maybe not as many but he still would have been successful.

He belongs in the HOF. Love him or hate him, he was very successful.
