  1. Wow, are you still comparing Avila to Harris? I thought that dog died 4 pages ago. Avila's teams did a lot of losing, so he had a lot of early picks. Many of those players are ones who led Detroit to the playoffs the last 2 seasons. Harris has done a good job restocking the talent in our minor leagues and putting in place much better player development. I'm really not sure how you don't understand that.
  2. Maybe. I thought i heard Slubal wanted to break the $400 million dollar threshold. If so, 8 @ $50M per season would get it done.
  3. Into the end zone doesn't mean it's out of bounds. If he fumbled it thru the end zone, the proper call would be the touch back. There's been many fumbles into the end zone that an offensive player jumps on a fumble for a TD. I think it's only in the last 2 minutes of a half where the only player who can forward a fumble is the player who fumbled it. At least, I think so...
  4. Boras would never allow Skubal to sign for 6 years. 8 years maybe?
  5. No Dombrowski guys left? /S
  6. True. Consistent pressure on the qb would make our secondary better. Brad has some work to do...
  7. It should have either been incomplete or down where his knee hit down. The ball never got to the goalline.
  8. So if Harris trades Avila guys, like Skubal, are the players coming here his guys or Avila guys? 😅😅
  9. We can make more of a judgement on Harris once all the Avila players get too expensive and leave. Right now we have a few highly regarded prospects that Harris and his team drafted. I really hope they live up to their hype. Turn the Tigers into a team that wins consistently.
  10. Wow. Just wow. I guess we need the bears to lose either against GB or against SF. And we need to win out. Pittsburgh here, in Minnesota and in Chicago. Tough task. Its been a while since we won 3 in a row. October 5th win was our last 3 in a row win.
  11. Im not sure how healthy Seattle is but the Rams are hurting. Seattle/Rams play Thursday on a short week. And Watson is hurt for Green Bay. They play in Chicago on Saturday night.
  12. OL depth and secondary help. And some health luck for a change. Teams that advance in the playoffs aren't always the best team, sometimes it's the healthiest team
  13. That was bad, real bad. Punt the ball, stupid! But Denver won, so it's all good.
  14. This comeback is going to be legendary.
  15. Look st the penalty disparity...the NFL fix is in. Too much money on the Lions
  16. He's just making up an explanation. Selling it to ignorant fans. Incomplete pass...if they incorrectly call it complete, he was down.
  17. Is there any doubt left about the NFL officiating? Big Time Wrestling ..fixed!!
  18. Tom Brady gets on every one of my nerves. Just.....shut up!
  19. The Lions had a few extra days to prepare for this game. But the injuries in the secondary are a huge red flag, especially against Stafford and very good Ram receivers. Even when they're covered, they make great catches. Just too much to overcome. The Rams will cover, something like 27-17. And I hope I'm wrong...
  20. I don't see it as how much time is left before spring training. I look at it as what players have already come off the board and which player(s) are still available? Is there still a decent SP, better than one of our rotation arms? How about a RH bat? At which position?
  21. Thats true. Except, it was Nick Maton.
  22. Agreed. And in order to draft those guys, his team had to lose hundreds of games. Those were some very dark Tiger days. And I dont think folks were giving Avila "credit." Folks were just saying the players they got us into the playoffs the last couple of seasons were drafted during the dark Avila days.
  23. Are they going to limit innings for Melton?
