Too many bad football teams playing in way too many bowl games.Watching bad football is a real bore. Bad teams that have a few good players who opt out of even playing in these bowl games.

Points in the paint are huge for a team. They're usually higher percentage. The Pistons are near the top of the league in points in the paint. Really impressive. And also, the last game on a long west ciast road trip makes this win even more sweet. Again, impressive

Jones came up clutch several times in 2025. But I really dont see him sticking too much in '26. Maybe for a stretch of games if somebody gets injured but he really has limited defensive skills. He really had a good run of hitting LH pitchers though...

The Tigers could carry his bat if other players are hitting. If Javy, Tork and Keith all start out slumping, Parker will need to hit. In early 2024, the whole lineup seemed to be slumping the first 2 months. The same as late in the 2025 season.

The injuries in the NFL are debilitating to a team. Many times, it's not the better team that wins, it's the least injured team that wins. The Lions points per game are a very good example. Give Campbell a healthy Lions offense and he would have scored more points per game than Morton did. Hopefully, the Lions will find an OC that gets the most out of our skilled position players.

A talking head on TV said that the Lions averaged more points per game under Morton than they did under Campbell. I have no idea if that is true but if so, I would say it's a very misleading stat. The O line play fell off a cliff and I would say it was more because of injuries than it was with the play calling. Sometimes stats can be very misleading.

Not just that but I think it's kinda silly hoping for an easy schedule. It's not like the schedule this season was the problem. With a loss, we'll be 1-5 in our division. That was the problem. And we're playing the same division teams next season. Bring on good opponents, get us ready for playing good teams in the playoffs. -

Gibbs is really good and I'm glad we have him but, IMO, running backs are a bit easier to find over a dominant DL. I remember there were questions about Carter's character. And he has showed some immaturity this season. The guy is really good but so is Gibbs.

So there were more DT were drafted in the 1st round than running backs? Buffalo kicker loses a very exciting game for Buffalo. Make an extra point kick and no need to go for a 2 point conversation on what should have been the winning TD.

It works the other way too. Too often, when playing a bottom feeder team, teams look past them and get bit in the butt. Its why they play the games on the court/field. If we just sat at a computer and fed stats into a computer program, the more talented team would win every time. But no computer can imitate the human emotion factor.

Agreed. It woulda been nice to put more pressure on Green Bay by beating Pittsburgh but...yeah...whatever. And now the Packers backup QB is injured...
