  1. Disappointed but not surprised. Beating Ohio isnt easy, I'm just glad we beat them the last few years. This was their first win against us since 2019.
  2. I was really hoping Ragnow would surprise us and play against Dallas. I guess not, it appears he wont be joining us. Bummer....
  3. What were the fans chanting near the end of the 3rd?
  4. Do they mean business enough to extend Bichette? Or do they have a better plan for SS?
  5. Agreed. And we have a very good punter who usually buries teams deep in their own zone. That could have made a difference in the recent losses where we couldn't make any 4th down conversions.
  6. Maybe MCDC should try letting Goff call his own plays. Just like real quarterbacks used to. 😆
  7. There's nothing more that I would like more than the Lions going 5-0 to end the season. Its just, I don't see it. Coaching, injuries and players not executing is why we're in 3rd place. We need to quickly straighten out as many of those problems as we can.
  8. Teams that improve going into the playoffs matter much more than game results in September. Chicago leads the league in takeaways.
  9. No. The Lions lost, at home, to a weak Vikings team. The Cowboys are playing really, really good. And Stafford is having an MVP type season. Of course, it's sports and anything can happen. And I really hope I'm wrong.
  10. Yeah, the Lions peaked at Washington. Chicago has gotten better and better. Gotta tip your hat and be gracious. But it sucks...all that talent in Detroit should make us the better team, at least record wise.
  11. "Count that baby AND a foul."
  12. On paper, they're still "in" it. But in reality? The Cowboys and in L A. may be season ending games. No St. Brown? How to stop Lamb and Pickins? I don't see the Lions winning 4 out of 5 when we've lost 4 out of the last 7. And the Pack play the Bears 2 games, we can't catch both teams. So yeah...go Bears. I do not want the Packers to win, ever. 😅😅
  13. Why? I hate to break it to you but the Lions wont be making the playoffs. I would much rather see the Bears win the division over the Packers.
  14. In other news, Donald Trump wants to charge a police chief for saying it's illegal to drive while drunk. /s.
  15. Oh no....in a couple of weeks? 😅😅
  16. I'm relaxed. It's just some people can't seem to understand why a rookie #3 receiver isn't taking #1 receiver routes. Or why there aren't multiple routes called for him. Or even why a veteran QB isnt on the same page after 4 or 5 months with a rookie. But yeah, he's a bust and Brad is an idiot for drafting him? No, like I said, we're lucky to have him.
  17. Do you understand football? TeSlaa is a rookie. Raymond has been around for several years. I would expect the Lions to have more routes for Raymond as well as Goff having more confidence in a receiver he's known for years over a rookie he's only known for months. I repeat, the Lions are lucky to have TeSlaa.
  18. Wow. When Teslaa practices, they give him certain routes to run. 3rd and 4th string routes. He doesn't practice the St Brown, LaPorta or Jamo routes. Kennedy has been around for a few years and been at training camps. So he knows the routes. Watch Teslaa get more practice as a #2 receiver this week. He should see more action against Dallas. We're lucky to have him.
  19. The better teams have strong offensive and defensive lines. The Lions don't. I don't care how many players Brad drafted or signed, they were not players who would make our lines strong. There's zero pressure on opposing quarterbacks and Goff is getting totally hammered several times a game. So this off-season, Brad needs to find the right combination of players to make our lines great again. Look at the moves Dallas, Philly and Green Bay made. They ALL improved mid-season by making great trades. The window, for this season, is closed. An All-Pro center coming out of retirement for the last 4 or 5 games isnt enough.
  20. I don't agree. Teams with a weak O-line usually don't win. Our line used to be a strength, making our QB, receivers and running backs look and play good. Right now our line is a major weakness, not allowing for plays to be made downfield.
  21. Goff is pretty tough. He keeps popping up...
  22. Especially since we need a FG and TD to tie it up.
