  1. If the home teams win, the Lions will play LA and Philly will play Tampa? Stafford scares me, the Rams are pretty healthy now.
  2. And no matter how many teams the NFL put in for wildcard weekend, the games all suck. There hasn't been a single exciting game.
  3. How much did the Pack sign him for? $50 million per year for 4 years? They're screwed. 😅
  4. I say I want to play them. Simply for the reason is it would mean Philly has been eliminated. 😅
  5. Like I posted, it's a good strategy if you have a great defense. The Eagles have one of the best. And don't forget;
  6. Good post, looks like a lot of work. People who are for deferring think it's so good to get back to back possessions, at the end of the 2nd quarter and the start of the 3rd quarter. First off, it's rare to get the ball last in the 1st half. Secondly, it's even more rare to score on both such possessions. All game long, defenses are fighting to get a turnover, they want to get the ball. To just give up a possession seems illogical to me. But I guess it's just a matter of opinion. My opinion or just a wrong opinion. 🤣🤣
  7. I guess my dislike of deferring is because of the SOL days. The games they would defer, they would be down by multiple scores by halftime. It didn't matter if they got the ball 1st in the 2nd half if they were down by 28 points. And yes, I have said if you have a great defense, go ahead and defer. But with this Lions offense? I want the ball, score and play with a lead. At least get a few 1st downs and pin the other team deep with a great punt. And I'll always say, it's giving away a possession. Give up a score and you're playing from behind before you even get the ball. And just like this Bills-Broncos game, Buffalo didn't get the ball to end the 1st half, Denver got it. And drove into FG range (but missed it.)
  8. Buffalo defers and gives up a TD. But that's OK, they have a 10% chance of getting the ball back at the end of the 2nd quarter, with under a minute left. There's only so many possessions in a game, just give one away? I can't understand that logic....it's illogical. 😆
  9. And the Jets are looking in the couch cushions for extra change. I still say they should have drafted a QB last draft.
  10. The rain in Spain falls mostly in the plain.
  11. I saw the TV stat bar and it showed his stats under "bench points." Maybe it was because he was on the bench at the time.
  12. If Glenn and Johnson both leave, I hope it's to the AFC. Please, not Chicago. And I wish them both luck, they'll both be part of Detroit Lion lore. And I guess there's a new coaching tree? The Dan Campbell tree. 😆
  13. Rams/Vikings moved to Arizona.
  14. I hope Harris is working as hard as the posters on MTS who are checking for ANY Tiger moves being made (or not) several times a day on this site...🤣🤣
  15. Did Cade not start tonight?
  16. He's going to the Saints, I bet. New York is about dysfunctional as an organization can be. But they do have a decent defense....
  17. I say the Bears problem are the GM (who they're keeping?), as well as their coaching staff. If they get some decent coaches, they may be a problem.
  18. The Rams coaches are way too conservative. Give Stafford the ball back with under a minute left and within one score? Terrifying.
  19. He played for the Jets and coached in New Orleans. My money is on New Orleans. The Jets are way too dysfunctional.
  20. Yes, OL. Maybe an edge rusher? A #3 wide receiver? Tim Patrick would do, we have so many other weapons. But...jeez...whoever Holmes picks will help, with Campbell and the coaches developing them and easing them in. This is a very well run organization.
  21. I was reading today that Ivey's injury/surgery has a 4 to 6 months recovery time. E-gads.
  22. Don't let the Pistons get hot! 😆😆
  23. We may see him go after a premium edge rusher, either thru trade or free agency. Sure, he hasn't gone after premium players in the past, but he was building a roster. Now that he's close, all bets are off. At least, I hope so. Miles Garrett isn't too happy in Cleveland...offer them some draft capital?
