  1. George said the Pistons lead the league in single digit wins. Those close games could easily turn into losses.
  2. Stewart is a foul magnet. And he never gets calls. No wonder he gets so frustrated.
  3. I wouldn't do it even if he was healthy. Thats just too much...
  4. Was Giannis out all that time because of a leg injury? It looked like an Achilles type injury now, no contact, he just dropped. Edit; he had a strained left adductor. Best I can tell, thats in the hip. Injuries like that can lead to further injuries if not allowed to heal. I hate to see star players hurt.
  5. Turn the ball over 22 times again and we'll get blown out.
  6. I remember several years ago, a Tiger pitcher went on the IL with a stiff neck. People said it was from watching his pitches get hit 450 feet. Lol
  7. Silly idea. Next, we'll hear a rule proposal that says outfielders have to have their back to home plate. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
  8. Agreed. We already have a few 2nd base options, as well as some prospects. Forget middle infielders, sign some quality pitchers...
  9. I see he's under contract with Arizona. He's also been playing 2nd base. Can he still play SS? "On April 2, 2025, the Diamondbacks signed Marte to a six-year contract extension worth a guaranteed $116.5 million."
  10. Hinch knows, and has said, sometimes a "save" is made in the 8th inning against the heart of an opposing teams lineup. Thats when a manager wants to use his "closer." Makes sense...
  11. Matt Manning signs with the Lions. The Samsung Lions of the KBO League in South Korea. πŸ˜†
  12. He already has an overabudance of young talented infielders. Prospects. Most of them flame out. But until they do, they're a good trading asset. It's why many people wanted him to part with some of them last trade deadline. And maybe he tried, who really knows? Harris mostly likes to keep things close to the vest.
  13. Harris has done a very good job, quickly rebuilding our minor league talent. But his trades have been underwhelming. And the money he's wasted on free agents...
  14. Sewell will play. He's a warrior. As for the Dallas pass rush? They have that same pass rush in their other games and they're still ranked around 30th in pass defense. Even though they've acquired some reinforcement. So yeah, an area of concern. But I really do see the Lions coming out very aggressive. That Ragnow incident may cause a chip on the other players shoulders. They'll want to prove they're capable of getting the job done.
  15. Last I saw, the Cowboys pass defense was 30th in the NFL. TeSlaa will go for 150 yards and 2 TDs. Jamo even better. Use Gibbs as a wideout with Montgomery in the backfield. This game is pretty much a must win...we need to go at least 4-1 and then hope for help.
  16. Once bitten, twice shy. πŸ˜†
  17. I agree but maybe if they had a real closer they may change their minds? "Fairbanks would certainly become the Tigers’ new closer as the organization looks to maximize its playoff window with Tarik Skubal." https://sportsnaut.com/mlb/detroit-tigers-linked-elite-closer-2025-mlb-free-agency
  18. Does that mean the Mets won't sign Edwin Diaz?
  19. Is Finnegan worth a $20M, 2 year contract? I say, yes please.
  20. People actually believe this guy???
  21. 22 turnovers. Teams that turn the ball over 22 times probably hardly ever win. I'm glad they won but they have some serious cleaning up to do.
  22. Pretty cool slow mo;
  23. Beating the teams you're supposed to beat is the sign of a good team. Chicago will (may) be really good with a couple/few good drafts.
