I think Manning will be traded at the deadline. If not, he'll be up here when they trade Flaherty. We have no control over the moves Harris makes/doesn't make. All we have are opinions and speculation.

Biden is taking a stand. Making abortion legal is a widely popular issue. Several other issues will get him many more votes. Especially medical debt. Capping all prescriptions at 2 grand a year is also really huge. People on expensive meds and their families would benefit. I'm for Joe!

Pitching has just been good enough to win 6 out of 7. Only 2 of them were 1 run games.

Baseball is a....strange game. Cincinnati goes into the Bronx and sweeps the powerful Yankees. Then go home and get swept by our Tigers. Then the 1st place Cleveland team comes to Detroit and the Tigers finish a 4 game series, winning 3 out of 4. A single away from a 4 game sweep. Cleveland was lucky to even win a game. Now the 1st place Dodgers come into Detroit, but only after playing a night game in Philly. This Tiger team is playing the best ball of their season. Keep it going!

Article in the paper tells a story...Tigers are 0-8 in Maeda's last 8 starts. And they've lost 11 of his 16 starts. Yeah, IMO, Manning could do better.

He's done better recently but pretty inconsistent so far this season. If he's healthy and effective, he could really help out.
