I read up on his signing with the Titans. Yes, he signed very cheap. 4.5 million $$. But his head coach in Tennessee was the offensive coordinator his first several years in Cincinnati. It would have been nice to have him here as our #2 or #3 receiver. But it sounds like he wanted a reunion with Callahan.

Ohhh...so Mize won't be going to arbitration. Yeah, he should still be here. But the guy has to start pitching much better and start staying healthy. I mean, this latest injury happened when he ran 50 feet or so for a pop foul. Basic stretching exercises prevents those injuries, especially in a young guy.

How many millions will he demand in arbitration? Remember, he wasn't a Harris pick. Look at Manning and Torkelson, Boyd and Turnbull. And there's probably more. Sure, Manning didn't perform but neither did Maeda.

The problem with this is, I don't see Harris offering Mize arbitration. He doesn't keep injured pitchers around.

Correction; first hit off of Muńoz since July 4th. First run allowed since June 26th and 1st HR allowed since May 18th. And Javy Bāez got him. That's...baseball...

When we pitch like this, a little offense is all we need. We only gave up 1 hit and 5 walks. 4 of those walks came in the 1st inning.

First run off of him since July 4th, according to Jason. A 2 out, 2 run homer to Javy....very good to see but really kinda unbelievable.

Agreed. Seattle was playing a depth that would have allowed them a play at the plate on a line drive single. With that being said, the ball Baddoo hit wasn't a routine fly ball. It was smoked over the CF head.
