I didn't start hearing any nominee changes until that horrible debate. People want to use that as their excuse. Joe is old and stutters. Everybody knew that, for years. But now they want to discard him like a used tissue? The nomination goes to Joe as long as he wants it. Just like millions of voters wanted when they voted for him in the primaries. These idiots are going to hand out country over to a corrupt felon.

I don't agree. The Tigers won't be buyers because quality players that could help us this season would add too much to the payroll. Look no further than last off-season to see the players we signed. Or didn't sign...

But that's not my point. Are we supposed to trust Harris' evaluations of prospects that are offered to us for Flaherty? Or even worse, Skubal? We've been down this road with many of the high quality players Avila basically gave away. Who left from the JV trade, Jake Rogers? Meanwhile, Verlander threw a no-hitter and won a Cy Young award? Yeah, gunshy trading stars for prospects.

We all knew Joe is old and has a stutter. But he gets stuff done and works for all Americans. He also has a great administration. Not a corrupt one like Trump had. Most of Trump's ended up in prison. I'm really not sure this country could survive another Trump term.

I missed baseball. Sometimes I turn on the Yankee announcers just to hear them cry when the Yankees are losing. Oh, the joy!! 🤣🤣

We even bother having a primary vote then? They asked people who they wanted as the nominee, we voted for Biden and they're gonna tell us...too bad? I don't think so. They're going to get Trump and his MAGA idiots elected. I'm voting for democratic nominee but I'm afraid of what other Americans will/won't do. Not show up to vote? Very possibly...

I think is he were to leave, it would be with the understanding that Harris would be the nominee. Can she beat Trump? I say yes, but don't underestimate MAGA.

These so called "leaders" had a primary to endorse a different candidate. One bad debate and they jump ship? With the possibility of Trump winning the election? It's totally backwards, people should be telling Trump to drop out. And people should be supporting Joe Biden. I'm on team Joe but if the "leaders" are successful, I'll still vote for the democrat nominee.

I have a problem with the democrat "leaders" who are trying to push Biden out of the race. They're attempting to take away millions of voters votes who voted for Joe in the primary. And they're handing this election to...Donald Trump. Are they corrupt? Or just stupid?

I went to several games at Exhibition Stadium. One time, we had seats down the LF line. Our backs were to home plate. Had a sore neck for a week...lol

I couldn't watch either and felt the same way. I fell for Apple's free trial earlier in the season and it was a horror trying to cancel. Now they offer two free months. (It was a week when I tried it) They really want people to forget they signed up for it and keep paying...screw them AND MLB. 😆

He played in almost 100 games. And if he would have hit just a tiny bit more, he would have been here longer. It's not just Harris that acquires players and give then extra chances, it's most GMs. I just don't trust Harris' ability when it comes to finding talent.

The scary part of trading Skubal is the return. Any player(s) we get will be given multiple chances to try to make Scott Harris look good. Even if they're total busts. Example? Nick Maton. Every Tiger fan saw he wasn't an MLB caliber player. But game after game, he was in the line-up, no matter how bad he was going. Not only given every chance but given extra chances. Why? Because Scott Harris traded for him with the plan to make him our 3rd baseman, taking the place of Candelario. Think about the possibility of having a few Matons in the line-up. If Harris trades for them, they'll be in the line-up for most of 2025. Whether they earn playing time or not. Even if they do poorly. A Skubal trade could set us back a few years.

It's an education system failure. We learned about WWII in....prolly about 7th grade or so. Of course, that was the early '70's for me. And the GOP wants to limit how much history is taught...it looks like she never did learn actual history. It's the party of "the slaves were taught valuable life lessons." SMDH

Well, to be fair, Trump is a private citizen who has a right to keep his medical records private. And nobody can ask him any type of question because he'll just lie anyway.
