The upside of all the injuries...it got our bench extended minutes and raised their confidence, as well as JB's confidence in them. Blaha said last night that he's going to give his bench more playing time in appreciation of them helping the team keep winning thru all of the injuries. This helps the starters use more energy for playing better defense. The Pistons are really, really good. And very fun to watch....so much running...

It's really tough with another game in 4 days. And against Green Bay. I won't say that game will be a must win but it's a.....must win. 😅

Scott Harris has a decision to make. Extend Skubal this off season or keep him for 2026 and then let him walk. Or trade him this off-season. I say trading him at the '26 trade deadline would have the fans and media screaming bloody murder, if the Tigers are contending. Also, a short rental would get much less in return. And it may cost much less extending him now, if he has another outstanding season, his price tag would go way up. I really hope the Tigers and Skubal work something out, he should be a Tiger for life.

Agreed. Scott Boras has a history of taking his players to free agency. It would be up to Skubal to tell him to get an extension done with Detroit. My hope is that Tarik will go for an 8 year contract, that's the max I expect the Tigers may go. But all negotiations with him are pure speculation by the fans/media. We just...don't know.

Looking at the schedule, we play the Bucks 2 more times coming up, December 3rd and 6th. Sometimes it's not who you play, it's when you play them.

It would be a discount, kind of, to extend him this off-season. After he has another Cy-like season, he may be (would be) more expensive. Its the Tigers one advantage, only they can negotiate with him.

Agreed. Maybe he was trying to stop the Piston momentum? Or hoping to give his team momentum?

The Pistons are well aware of our recent struggles against the Bucks. They came out looking very determined. The Pistons defense has led to way, that's great to see.

Unless they sign him to a long term contract like they did with Colt.

It seems like Harris is pretty good at building bullpens for Hinch to use. The bullpen was a major reason the Tigers made the playoffs in 2024 and standing pat on questionable arms isn't the best idea. Turnover seems to work best, while a solid bullpen is the difference in a playoff team and a bottom feeding team, building a bullpen is such a crapshoot.

My shoulder is finally almost better but now I wiped out and really hurt my knee. This season is a bust! 😌😌

He was under immediate pressure. Just an unrelenting pass rush. The Texans have the #1 defense in the NFL. Even Allen looked shook up after being hit hard, very hard, several times. It makes me understand why Goff looked so bad against Philly.

Allen was sacked 8 times in total. Many of them were very hard hits and huge losses. Over 10 yards. He kept backpedaling.

It's a lucky thing that Obama had Bin Laden killed. Otherwise, Trump would have invited him to the Whie House.

If Harris had to build a team from scratch, it may take his a dozen years. Luckily, he had a foundation of Avila players to get him started. We'll see which broken down injured players he overpays for this winter. Is Avila employed? We sure could use him to bring in some quality players...🤣

I've also heard stories about Trump not paying people who own small businesses the money owed to them. Putting mom and pop businesses out of business. He would just throw lawyers at them to get out of paying them. A miserable and cheap old man.

One thing I like about Harris is he apparently is good at building a bullpen. With starting pitchers averaging fewer and fewer innings per start, it puts more importance on a good bullpen. And our 2024 bullpen helped us into the playoffs.

One good move doesn't make up for a dozen head scratching moves. Avila sucked...I agree. But he's STILL responsible for the better players on the roster. And he really doesn't deserve a lot of credit for many of those players, he lost so much,we had a ton of high draft picks. And whoever told him to draft Skubal so late deserves credit.
